A great charger that works perfectly with my Dell laptop - it's a much better charger than the original one provided. It doesn't get as hot, has a longer cable and seems to be more durably made than the Dell one (which suffered a broken cable junction due to the poor design).

Great replacement item. The 180w unit is good for the larger precision laptops and also for powering dock stations. it easily has enough power to charge and run the larger laptops which is why I went for it.

It's working for me but not look as a brand new. Have scratches in the adapter. Initially, I thought to return it but due to some emergency works, I kept it.

Perfect for High-Intensity Usage
If you bought one of the laptops compatible with this power pack from Dell, you will have probably been given a 130w one, which doesn't cut the mustard for high-intensity load. This 180w one however is more than capable of powering this line of laptops - it gets nowhere near as hot as the 130w one and power never dips below 100% when plugged in. Highly recommended to also install "Dell Power Manager" which will help improve battery life.

It works but poor quality
The charger works on my Dell G5 laptop. However, the plug insert at the laptop end is loose and does not provide a good fit and the main transformer box also comes apart from the 240 lead every time you pick it up. Like I say it works fine but annoyingly sloppy connections.

Now I can have one psu at home and one in work
Splitting my time between home office and work office the dell power supplies are a heavy lump to carry around. I bought this so that I can leave one at home, and one at work. I works well, it has different branding so may be a copy but looks well made either way. It was a good price too.
