It’s such a beautiful story. I’m a first time mom and I got it for my daughter for when she’s older to pass on.

I bought this book for each of two adult daughters. I thought these are perfect reminders of the love between mothers and daughters regardless of the age of the daughters. It's a tradition I began a few years ago and will continue with my daughters and started with my grandsons. They are received with great affection.

Has a rhyming pattern for the top few lines of each page and then the last line on each pages doesn’t rhyme. I’m sure it’s a kind of poem formatting but I forget what it would be. It is consistent. I don’t mind the change from all rhyme to no rhyme on each page, but be aware. I love the book and words and I’m sure my 6 year old will love it!
