Can confirm that this works with a BMW440ix convertible. Takes a little work to avoid the PDC (Parking control) sensors in the front bumper. Mount as high as possible and as far right as possible. Then drill holes in the license plate to move as far right as possible. Use the shorter of the two extensions to keep as close to bumper as possible. Bend the plate and holder back to be parallel with the curved bumper. The goal is be as close to the bumper as possible and out of the way of the PDC ultrasonic sensors.It would be nice if there was an even shorter extension so the plate holder would be flush with the bumper.

So far, it's holding. Instalation was easy. It comes with 2 different adapters. I used the shorter one for my car.It comes with just about everything to install. However, I HIGHLY recommend using a wrench as well. Based on other reviewer comments, the main bolt that screws into the car can come loose. I saw that after just hand tightening the bolt. As I was trying to add the plate mount it started to unscrew. I used a wrench to get a tighter fit for for the bolt and adapter, and then for installing the plate mount. Hold the bolt/adapter while screwing in the mount.Also note the nuts provided for installing your plates, do not move along the screw threads easily. They stop after a few turns at the bottom of the screw. (See photo) This is not enough to keep your plates in place.I held the nuts with the wrench as I tightened each screw with the provided Allen (hex) key to secure my plates in place. That worked nicely.After that, everything was nice and tight. It's only been 2 days of driving, but so far all seems secure. I'll keep checking and update if anything changes.Side note, mine did not come.with instictions but I fgured it out:Bolt >adapter>washer>platemount.tighten center screw to secure plate mount. Add license plate, secure at each corner with screws and nuts.

No way to attach any of parts provided, part wasn’t incomplete. Missing hole for the main screw.

It mounts on my e92 as it should however it sticks out much further than pictured in the photos of the advertisement. I’ve tried every way possible and that’s as close to the bumper as it’ll get. I guess it’s better than getting a ticket from CHP for now but I’ll keep shopping for a better one.

Fit my E60 perfectly, I just don't want to screw into the front bumper!

This product is made and sent from China. They give you plenty of parts (Sort of) for the many models of Bimmer this front mount needs to accommodate. I did away with the locking nut on the tow shaft in order to shorten the shaft length by 1/4". I wish that the shaft was shorter by 1/2" but I understand why they machined it that way. Mounting to the tow hook area was simple and again I did away with the locking shaft nut. I'll see if that becomes a regretful thing in a few weeks/months. The other area if I have to complain is I wished this company would have designed a way to provide two mounting locations for the plate assembly to the shaft. Its all dependent on one screw holding it in place on a curved area of the plate assembly. I was able to create a better mounting situation using some spare nuts & locking washers. I would recommend lockTite if you have any. All in All it looks great I really wanted to give a 5 star but only if the plate hugged the bumper closer and the main plate assembly was secured using 2 nuts & screws instead of 1. I do recommend it, you just have to be creative with the assembly.

Product was easy to assemble and very sturdy! Will give another update after a few months but it’s been 3 weeks and so far so good
