I used the p and j scented oil in teakwood. Poured into the wood, let it soak in and then poured some more to let it soak in. By the next morning, I put the diffusers in my car and they work great!

I specifically did NOT want a diffuser to spread scent over a large area because I'm using it in an office and only want to smell it in my desk area. It's PERFECT for this purpose. I'm very happy.

I love how it has a magnet on the flower so the clip stays on the vent that way I can take off the flower and put fresh oil on it then reattach to the clip

They aren't going to infuse a whole room, except perhaps a tiny powder room. I have one sitting by my knitting/reading chair and get a little whiff every now and then. It's behind a little fan I use when my corner gets too warm from my computer and task light. It picks up the scent. Don't have to worry about a water reservoir running dry as with an electric diffuser. The aroma isn't constant; you don't succumb to olfactory overload where your system eventually doesn't respond to the smell. I just got a second pair for other scents and other places in the house.

I tried a few drops of essential oil on this thing. Then I soaked it in essential oil. It just absorbs. Does not emit any fragrance at all regardless of how much oil I dropped on it.

It takes a couple of weeks of putting oil on it before you can smell it, but once that happens, it is great. The car smells nice, but it is not overpowering. Not sure how it works if different scented oils are added since that initial oil is so deep into the wood. I like it a lot.
