Killing Eve: No Tomorrow

Absolutely genius
Great stuff. Absolutely wonderful. I loved it from beginning to end. I was blown away by the TV show, of course, but the books are even better. Best I’ve read in ages. The final scenes are amazing, and had me riveted to my Kindle. Luke Jennings is clearly a genius, and has created two characters for the ages.

Worth a read for fans
If you're a fan of the TV series and want more, I recommend giving the source trilogy a read. That is, however, with the caveat that you should NOT expect the dynamic, lively characters given to us by PWB, Jodie Comer, and Sandra Oh. In the nicest and least sexist way possible, this is quite clearly female characters written by a man. They are still fun to read, but lack a certain depth and complexity that we've come to enjoy from the show. In terms of storyline, there are some awkward jumps in logic. As for writing style, the author relies a little too heavily on dialogue. It's easy to add your own flare in based on what you know about the characters in the show, but it is not given on the page. I do like that the books have a little more sex and cursing than the show (it fits the characters), but at times V comes across as a little too crude and not the effortlessly elegant way Jodie portrays her (i.e., "our Villanelle" would never get head from a gross stranger in an alleyway). Basically, if you are obsessed with the show and want to read the 'original version' of the story and characters, this is worth the time. It is a very easy read, the whole series can be tackled in a weekend.

Killing Eve Series Hurtles Forward
Again, the book series is not the same as the tv series. MI6 agent Eve Polastri becomes further intrigued by and attracted to Uber assassin Vilanelle.A clever plot thrusts these polar opposites together in an improbable flight to save their lives leaving readers begging for more, more, more.

Story just keeps getting better
I usually find that reading books after you have watched a series is disappointing, but this is an exception. This is the second of 3 books and I will be starting the 3rd soon. Great tight story, good imagery.

love it
Like that there are similarities with the show but the book is better. More insight on Villanelle. The tv shows her as immature but here we can see she is a professional

A little sloggy
This book felt a little mired down in parts as the conversations were not snappy and they were often bogged down with information wasn't relevant to the plot or moving the scene forward. It felt like a lot of things could have been left on the cutting room floor as it were.A lot of it was a mixture of what I suspect is the authors effort to link the successful TV series to his books in an effort to boost sales because some scenes were straight from season two. I realize that authors often consult the series on set but this way a little too glaringly obvious for my tastes because there was a startling lack of character insight during many of the scenes that just screamed "well of you want more you better watch the show."The action and the assassinations made up for the lack of pithy dialogue but I look forward to getting a bit more insight into Eve on the run in the next book in the series. Hopefully the author will have had enough to write another complete novella on par with the first book.

...amazing read...
An amazing story - as good as any that I have read. Although there is action, the plot is character driven - and these are two incredible protagonists!Need to read books in sequence - but read them one after the other to keep the story flowing and not lose momentum.Luke Jennings is a tremendous writer. Not sure if I want a sequel, or just leave it where it ends....

Killing Eve No tomorrow
Loved the tv series but the books are much better, raw and intense and both characters less bizzarre. Villanelle is still ruthless but her behaviour has more senso than in the series where the comedy, the act was more featured.

Interesting narration of a relationship with a psycopath
Fun and interesting depiction of a relationship with a psycopath (I dont know how much of it can be fiction but it seems plausible to be the dynamic between at least a narcisist , and someone without a personality disorder. Romance, suspense, cool story. I liked the depiction of the relationship between the 2 women.

Killing eve
