Replacement Rotary Cutter gearbox, 40/45hp rated, 1-3/8" - 6 spline input shaft, 1.57" X 12 tapered spline output shaft and 1:1.47 speed up ratio for most rotary cutters with slip clutch PTO drivelines.. Fits Fred Cain, WAC, Big Bee, New Holland, John Deere, Kubota, Land Pride, Rhino, Bush Hog and many more brands. These gearboxes can have a square, round or 5 Sided housing and all are interchangeable with the same mounting patters, gear ratio, and shaft dimensions. If your gearbox has a 1.57" diameter by 12 spline output shaft and a 1-3/8 - 6 spline input shaft this gearbox will work. Bolt pattern is 4-3/4" on center hole to hole and 6-3/4" center to center of bolt hole on diagonal. Thefour (4) mounting holes form a square bolt pattern. THIS IS NOT A UNIVERSAL FIT GEARBOX, IT WILL ONLY REPLACE 4 BOLT MOUNTING GEARBOXES WITH A 1-3/8" BY 6 SPLINE FRONT SHAFT AND A 1.57" BY 12 SPLINE BOTTOM SHAFT. Very impressed worked for my wolverine brush hog
I work for a local tree service and we have a wolverine brush hog and needed to replace the gear box and after not being able to get a new one I needed to do a little modification but hight and everything worked just need to cut pto spline down but would definitely recommend 👍

Great product fixed my old cutter
Great product fast shipping. On older John Deer models (403) and those like it. There is a ring where the old gear box mounted that will need to be cut out.

Still worth the money
Worked well but after 25 hours of us the flange that holds the gears in broke. Probably because a piece of rock hit it.

IT LOOKS AND TURNS VERY WELL, GOOD RATIO AND SHOULD BE A GREAT REPLACEMENT FOR THE ONE THAT BROKE.
