Jorn Utzon is not a celebrity architect despite being recognized as one of best design architects in the 20th century. Along with Svere Fehn, Arne Jacobsen, and Alvar Aalto, Utzon's work has its own particular flavor, reflective of his somewhat unique approach to design. Those who take keen interest in his work, are probably already fairly informed about architecture in general. If you are one of them, all you really need to know about THIS particular series of books consisting of five volumes is: - THESE FIVE VOLUMES ARE THE BEST, MOST DEFINITIVE BOOKS ON JORN UTZON'S PROJECTS AND WORK PROCESS, period! He was actually personally involved in preparing them for publication, as he was still alive at that point. Rather unfortunately, I have read somewhere that THESE particular five books will never be re-published due to some licensing agreements, which is a pity if that is true. Naturally, it also makes these books rare and pricey, so, if you have a chance to purchase them for a reasonable price, I'd suggest you do it. Hope this helps. Cheers!
