Last weekend my son and I caught 23 rainbow trout. Mostly on the green garlic version of this but several with this as well. The first one I caught was on eggs I'd left on my hook from the week before. I'd done the same thing the week before and caught fish. Stays on the hook very well, and a lot of the time reusable after a catch.

Bought this in red because it was cheap as an add on item ($2.85) and was curious to see if it was useful thing to have. Used it to tip my spoons ice fishing instead of live bait, and the perch seemed to like it...so far, not disappointed in using it ice fishing, but trying it on the river will really prove if its any good. Can't beat the price though, doesn't come off the hook easy either!

Simple as that. They work. The hook for trout must be small ones. Like 1/4 in ones. Just test out if it'll float on a 3-4ft leader line, make sure to add the sinking weight so that the bait will be floating off the bottom and after that is just full your cooler with trouts. The day I was on the lake nobody got anything on spinners. I was the only one with a smile on my face (: - all caught on the same bait, I didn't even replaced the two ones and fished the whole day with the same baits I started.

I bought these for trout fishing. I caught nothing on them. Hope you have better luck than I did. But that is why it is called fishing, not catching, some days they just dont bite...

Use with live bait all time. Have good success with this power bait

I will be totally honest I have plastic scented eggs from another company, though I'm not bashing them and have caught fish on them the difference is like night and day. The power eggs were slammed in less than 5 min. and in winter conditions trout fishing left with my limit of winter breakfast trout fry, like I said I was a skeptic, but I am also honest these power eggs flat out work. I used yellow and orange but have ordered other colors cause Trout are color picky.

Use this product in the spring for river trout. The scent and colour pattern always gets me the big trout. The scent continues to work well hours into the trip. Will definitely buy again
