amazing story + amazing characters = amazing game!
even if it has been toned down some, all the crazy dialogue is still there. i never played the original pc version from back in the 90s, but this version is just as good. the story is amazing, the charactures are great, and the feelings i get from playing through the timelines is amazing. i binged watched the anime while giving the game a break, and i got the same sense from the anime as i did the game. some scenes are emotional, others are funny, it pretty much hits on all the emotions at once. even if im not able to find the old pc version, im glad i gave this version a try, i absolutely love it!

An excellent obscure game
The game was in excellent condition and shipped fast. A somewhat obscure and hard to find game at an excellent price

A flawed classic that inspired the genre...
Yu-no is a remaster of a classic visual novel from the mid-90's. The effect it had on the visual novel genre is very clear, as it most assuredly influenced many of the science-adventure VNs(Steins;Gate, 999, and Virtue's Last Reward being the obvious examples) as well as the genre in general. It tells a very good story with excellent world-building and a very unique system of gameplay that still holds up well today. The biggest flaw of the game is even in this edited form(sex scenes are removed, though the before and after scenes are not), the main character is a fairly large pervert and the game drops a lot of unnecessary fan service to the point of creepiness that detracts from the game. The lead character is also fairly annoying and conveniently dumb at times for the sake of the plot. The game is remastered with a very appealing classic anime art aesthetic, but I do wish they had kept the original art style as an option. You can flip between the original OST and the new one though. There is also an in-game hint system you can turn on which can clarify where to go on some routes, which is useful. You will easily get 30+ hours out of Yu-no, and likely a lot more than that. It's an easy recommend for visual novel fans.

Excellent remake of the classic that is within the same vein as Steins Gate. Enjoyed it!!

Boring game
If you like clicking the A button the whole time while reading endless English subtitles, hearing Japanese audio, and doing random searches around your environment....this game is for you. Otherwise, this game is a total waste of time.
