Unbeatable quality and value
Can’t say enough how great this system is for the money, no surprise subscriptions or monthly fees. The quality of the system is great, and at my other property I have an extremely expensive system kn a private network, just one of the cameras costs more than this entire system, and I can honestly say I prefer this system. The only downside to this system is the app. It hasn’t really changed in years as I had a similar system I installed years ago and was due for an upgrade. The app really needs some streamlining, but it’s not terrible. The motion detection could be slightly better as it can be too sensitive and the spotlight is delayed a little bit more than I like, however they do work great. The audio is good, the night vision is great, especially if you opt for leaving the the white light on instead of infrared. I would recommend it for long range but for short range the night vision is great. If you take the time to set the system up correctly and to your liking, you end up with professional level system for an insanely inexpensive price. Great Value Camera System for Homeowners
I bought this system as I was in the market to replace an old set of systems for both my parents house and my own. I stumbled across this system and decided to give it a try since the price was very fair. Its been a great system with clear picture and audio controls. The system was delivered fairly quickly via Amazon, and the packaging was clean. As I opened it up, everything was neatly packaged and organized. The cameras that came with the system was already programmed and set up. Being a plug and play was a nice feature to make the install faster. Setting up the DVR was easy with the mouse, HDMI, and Lan cable that came with it. All you have to set up is your language, time zone, and system password. I have my systems plugging in via landline for a better connection to the internet. As I plugged in each camera, it took about 45 seconds to boot up and auto-connect. The picture both day and night is very clear. Adding new cameras was very easy to do. Just plug you new camera into the DVR Lan port and power the camera on. It will take 1-2 minutes to connect. Use your mouse to click on an empty Camera screen and hit add, the new camera will pop up on the list. Just click add and thats it, the camera is programmed automatically for wireless use, simple! The App was easy to set up, I found it quickly on both the App store and the Google Play store. You do have to create an account but no credit card is required. You only have to pay if you want to use the cloud storage features but the local DVR storage is free. The app is also nice as it lets you control PTZ cameras and use the talk feature on all cameras that are compatible. My system has audio on all cameras which is a nice feature to have. The Esee cloud also has a PC app you can download and log into. I found this a very useful tool to help me program and adjust the cameras. I work better on PC then mobile. Notes: 1. The power adapters aren't really labeled but keep in mind that the biggest one is for the DVR, it is easy to confuse them. 2. Keep you cameras within 100ft of the DVR for best picture quality. Keep in mind that the more obstructions between the camera and DVR, the less the range. 3. Its best if you can keep this near a tv in case you need to make adjustments. 4. The system works better connected to internet via a landline compared to WIFI for me at least. 5. Dongle type Wireless mice do work for the DVR if you don't like an old school plug in cable mouse.

Simple, yet powerful first time set up!
The cameras are great quality, fairly easy to set up as well. The definition on the cameras is on point especially for the price, but the night vision is where it's at. Night vision one second and when motion is detected bright lights come one and it's a great deterrent for would be thieves and vandals. I highly recommend this setup for any camera novice wanting a solid choice for Security cameras. Only issue is the power, it can be a pain to run their short cables to outlets, I used some cord hider and paint matched it to my house, problem solved.

System no longer works.
This system come with 4 stationary cameras than can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally. Power cords are roughly 10 feet long and there are 4. Also has the hardware to mount the cameras. Option to hard wire the cameras or connect wirelessly into your system. Cameras do need to be connected to a power source either way. NVR comes with hard drive already installed and ready to go. NVR can connect to a monitor or tv via VGA or the supplied HDMI cord. NVR connects to your home network via a supplied cable or wirelessly. Power NVR up and follow the instructions on screen. Cameras will show as they are powered on, no need to add them. I was also able to add all of my other cameras to this system which was an added bonus. Even my optical zoom cameras were added which I was not able add on another older system. Pictures from the cameras are nice and clear. Cameras are not yet mounted in the permanent spots due to current weather. It has not been above 10 degrees here for 3 days and cameras all are working flawlessly. This is the third Hiseeu system I have purchased and all have been easy to setup and monitor thru use of the Eseecloud app either on your phone, table, or PC. Other systems are at family members homes but I think this one I will keep. Update 6/21/2026 - NVR constantly restarting every 5 minutes. Less than a year and one half of use.

Feature-Packed Security System With Reliable Recording and Good Image Quality
I installed this system to improve coverage around my property and overall I’ve been impressed with how much functionality is included for the price. The 5MP cameras produce a noticeably clearer image than older 1080p systems I’ve used in the past. During the daytime, the picture is sharp enough to easily identify faces, vehicles, and general activity around the property. Night performance has also been solid, and the spotlight feature helps add both visibility and a bit of deterrence. Setup took some time, mainly because of camera placement and routing power cables, but the system itself was fairly straightforward to configure. Once connected, the NVR recognized the cameras without much trouble. I also like having continuous 24/7 recording instead of relying only on motion-triggered clips. The included 1TB hard drive is enough to get started, and the expandable 16-channel NVR leaves room to add additional cameras later if needed. Two-way audio and motion alerts are useful features as well, especially for checking activity remotely. A couple things worth mentioning: since the cameras use DC power, you still need to run power to each camera location, so installation is not quite as simple as fully wireless battery systems. Also, motion alerts occasionally needed sensitivity adjustments to reduce unnecessary notifications. Overall, though, this feels like a good balance between affordability and functionality. Good option for homeowners or small properties looking for a capable multi-camera security setup without paying subscription fees every month.

The cameras are great. The screws not so much.
Screws that came for install strip very easily. We switched out the screws and installation was a breeze. Camera cables are a good length the cameras only adjust up and down not side to side. We got tired of subscriptions, batteries and video clips that missed most of the action with blink. These are a major upgrade for less. The cameras are super clear and easy to setup up. Any “event” picked up I am alerted with a time stamp to easily go back and review. It’s nice to know that nothing will be missed anymore. Highly recommend.

Sophisticated system, great price
WiFi NVR and 4 WiFi Cameras. The kit comes with a little wired mouse for control and configuration of the NVR (no keyboard is needed for anything). An Ethernet cable is supplied (so you can connect to your router if you want it hardwired; not needed if you don’t want to connect, or want to use WiFi to connect). An HDMI cable is also supplied (you will need to connect to a monitor or TV to setup the NVR). The back of the NVR also has a VGA connection (but there is no cable) if you want to use that instead of HDMI. Each camera came with everything you need to mount it (screws, plugs, a stick-on drilling template etc.), as well as its own 12v power adapter. I replaced a 3 year old (3 MP) system I had (a different brand). The NVR software on the new one seems like it was derived from the same roots, but is definitely a lot cleaner to use. Capability-wise you can control many things (like whether to use the white or infrared LEDs at night, whether to send an alarm when a humanoid is detected, how that alarm is handled (flash lights, run siren, send an email, or notify on the app), and a bunch of other things. The “humanoid detection” (on its initial, default settings) isn’t perfect. It generally does seem to detect people, but will also trigger with moving bushes etc. I haven’t played with the sensitivity settings, so maybe this can be improved. I did use the masking feature it has that allows you to configure certain parts of the image (e.g. where you have trees and bushes) to be ignored for motion detection. Note that all of these settings are per camera – so you can use different settings for each camera. Cameras are actually 2880x1620 Resolution (which is a little under 5MP, but close enough). Like a lot of other Wifi security system cameras, FPS (frames per second) is 15. Cameras have 2 way voice (so microphone and small speaker built in), and a huge number of LEDs (white and infrared), which is nice. As configured out of the box, the 1 TB hard drive records a little over 3 weeks of video with 4 cameras (before it starts to overwrite the oldest stuff). Opening the box to replace the harddrive (with a bigger one) is pretty easy, but it does look like you can have only one harddrive (i.e. you cannot ‘add’ another - you have to replace the existing one). The NVR runs its own WiFi network, specifically just for the cameras (so they don’t appear on your own home network). Things are a bit more secure this way. The cameras were all pre-configured , so connected automatically to the associated NVR when powered up. I believe that cameras and their network are 2.4 and 5.8Ghz frequency – which is good, many cameras are just 2.4 ghz. Quality-wise I had no issues. Everything was obviously new and properly packaged. The cameras seem well made. The white parts (body, base, connecting arms) are all metal (except for the small speaker, underneath), and the black piece at the front may be metal also (I couldn’t really tell). Initial setup of the NVR software was pretty quick and painless. However, afterwards I noticed the network region had defaulted to MKK (should be FCC for Canada). I didn’t like that the app seems to steer you towards buying cloud storage. One of the reasons I got this kit is that I don’t want to depend on (or pay for) cloud storage. Still, you can just ignore those options. Other than that, the app seemed to work just fine for remotely accessing my cameras. Note that if you don’t want to use the app (i.e. you will access all video recording through the screen/TV physically attached to the NVR), then you don’t have to connect your NVR to your home network (and the internet), thus making it even more secure. Considering the system’s capabilities, this kit is very inexpensive. Pleased with it so far.
