Descent Jacket
I am 6'2" 220 lbs, fairly athletic, broad shoulders, 33" waist. This jacket I bought as a possible winter jacket. I think it is more designed for mild weather as apposed to cold weather. The shell is nice for blocking most of the wind and the "falling snow". I wouldn't roll in the snow with it though. The inside is fleece lined but it is a thin layer of fleece, so unless you are layering up underneath you will be cold if you get this jacket for the winter.I went with the large but now I kind of wish I had gone with a XL so I could use it more as a semi stylish winter jacket.I do love all the pockets, the lower back pocket I use the most for storing a pair of gloves. All the other pockets I use to store things like lighters, chapstick, wallet, pens, very small flashlights, etc.I have had this jacket for about 2ish years now and it still has a semi rigid feel to it like a new jacket would. The one thing that I am not a big fan of is how quickly the wrist velcro parts became completely useless. After a couple of months the velcro wouldn't work and now I have these annoying pieces of plastic just flapping around on my wrists, so I ended up just cutting it.

Very Happy with my Camo Coll Coat
The coat has served very well during my trip to Alaska in mid-May. I am about 5' 9" -- 200lbs. 38 waist. A 'little' larger around the middle. The coat fits very well. Sleeve length on the XL coat was excellent.I bought the coat for the hood and thinking I would need a 'real' coat if I am going to Alaska (Hope, AK). Temps varied from mid-30s to 60s. Was sunny and then damp/rainy.I must warn that I am a person that wants to be warm and does not care what I may look like. Some 'sport' was made of me wearing 'all these things.' But, I was warm when it counted.I did wear 3 to 4 tee shirts, a 'heavier' sweater, a light down zip up jacket and then the Camo Coll coat. Even with all of that on for much of the day (9 days) when going out, The hood (accompanied with a light weigh baseball cap) held me in good stead. There was one day walking around the Alaskan Conservation Center -- weather was raw and rainy (not heavy -- but there). With my 'layers', the cap, and the hood I was 'again' in "good stead" --warm and OK.With the light rain that hit the coat, that rolled off --- no problem with rain. There were three times I took the coat off (keeping the down jacket on). We were hiking and we did shovel a bit. And actually sitting in the sun (temps got to 65). The zip-up down jacket is of the variety that that can be be put into a pouch. The pocket arrangement is OK. My Apple 6s Plus proved 'a bit' large for the zipped outer pockets; but that was OK.There is no 'inside' pocket that I could find. Again, that was OK. -->The coat was meant to be something of 'medium' weight' -- Meant to be able to be another 'layer' that could be added/taken away at willAll-in-all I am very happy with the coat.

Comparison large vs xl and women's sizing in men's jacket
So I have ordered both a large and extra large. I have a 48" chest and 32" waist, I went off others reviews for sizing, but found that though my chest measurement was the same as one male reviewer, the large was too tight and confining on my anatomy. The arms on the large were fairly snug too, I have larger arms, nearly 14" around the upper arm. I sent my large back and ordered the xl. I found this size quite big, able to fit my husband who is a regular xl. The arms are much, much bigger, the chest is at least three or four inches larger and the overall fit is quite baggy. It looks like the guy wearing it in the picture in the coffee brown. Quite loose. I would have preferred the large but wanted the option to layer, between the two sizes, there is a large difference in fit. Bear this in mind if you like tight fitting or loose clothing. I normally can wear a men's large t-shirt with no issues, I would say their large definitely runs tight and their xl is true to American sizing for an xl.That said, colors ran true to the pictures and the material is nice. I really like the many capabilities of the jacket and like everyone else, wish the pockets were deeper in front... it's fairly simple to change from the inside is you can see though. I like all the pockets and wish they had something like this for women that wasn't pink or red neck camo.
