Bittydesign Liquid Mask (16oz)

This stuff is very nice to use. Spray on a few coats, making sure to get it nice and thick. It’s much easier to peel off when it’s thick enough, but can take quite a while to dry if you lay it on really thick.Let it cure and dry until it’s no longer opaque, and then cut and peel. Once dry, it forms a very easy-to-cut yet tough layer, meaning it’s not a hassle to peel off your masking sections.No noxious smell either, which is a bonus. Leaves no residue on the lexan, and allows for very clean lines. I’m a novice to painting with liquid mask and still had no trouble.I did use an HVLP spray gun from Harbor Freight to spray it, and I think that’s probably the right route to take. Seems like it would be very difficult to apply with a 0.5mm airbrush tip, unless you thin it down *a lot.*Really liked this stuff, and one 16oz bottle should cover several 1/8 scale bodies.

Having never used a masking product before I searched the web and You Tube for advice. This product seemed to get the highest praise so I went with it. I was painting a R/C truck body and found this very easy to use. I applied 3 coats as recommended. It dies to a light pink color so you can see where you have applied it. No smell. You can easily remove the areas you want with a sharp exacto knife and it peels right off. I had no bleed through anywhere. Very nice product.

I did a lot of reading watching YouTube videos on liquid masking,I like the fact that when it dries it leave a light color,way easier for me to see even the tiniest of detail.I sprayed on and did 3 layers and was perfect,easy to remove with out lifting the side that needs to stay on, it is also self leveling.I really like this liquid mask,I would highly recommend it to anyone painting rc lexan bodies.

Easiest to spray a few at the same time then paint them when your ready. Works best with airbrush. I use the Badger glaze gun has a nice big bottle and is meant for spraying thicker things like mask. Plus it hooks right up to a normal compressor.
