Excellent compression stockings!
Jobst stockings are doctor recommended stockings. This pair is at 30-40 pressure which gives excellent support to the lower leg for those long days at work. They seem to give you a boost of energy. They were not as difficult to put on as I expected. Initially comfortable but as you approach ten hours they do begin to feel too tight. Easy to remove. They were half the price here compared to medical store sites.

A product that didn't work out...
...but not the fault of the product. My elderly dad needed a pair of compression stockings due to bad swelling (edema) in his feet, ankles and legs up to his knees. I found these on the Amazon site, chose black, size L, and had them shipped to him (he lives several hours from me). When the stockings arrived, he looked at the size and didn't want to struggle getting them on. They looked too small for his swollen feet and legs. I got them back from him and rather agree that they are smaller than what I expected. Had I been able to see them before ordering, I would have chosen a larger size. I also was not clear as to how much compression he needed; this pair is 30-40mmHg rated as extra-firm. I've rated the stockings with 4 stars as they look like a very good quality that would last through a lot of wear, and would be perfect for the person who needs this level of compression at this size. Pro Therapy is allowing a return so I am in the process of doing that. Unless you know exactly what you need and have sized them in person, it is rather difficult choosing the right stocking, especially for someone else at a distance.

Best Fitting Comp-Socks ever!
These socks are almost half the price of Sigvaris socks, but have a much more consistent compression. The best thing I noticed is that they stay up along the upper calf. Most slip down during the day. (Yes, even the $70+ Sigvaris socks.) And the Asian knock-offs are just that. Inconsistent fit, and inconsistent compression gradients along the length of the sock.I think these are the real deal!

Very good durable compression but the uncomfortable material made me look elsewhere
I returned them because they are made of a very uncomfortable material that is almost rubber like. I tried another (more expensive, of course) model they make that uses a much more skin friendly material and it’s working out well. I prefer the socks made by Medi though, which can also be purchased right here on Amazon. They make socks for specific feet (each set has a L and a R foot specific sock) My mother ordered a set of those for me from Amazon, and they have the same compression but with a much more comfortable material. Unfortunately with high quality compression socks the adage is true, you get what you pay for. The lower cost socks typically are made with lower cost (=uncomfortable) materials. My advice is to spend a bit more and get more comfort. It’s worth the expense, and they will have a much higher chance at compliance due to that fact.

NOT DURABLE, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR ASSISTANCE
Poor Quality. Lasted a month before they had holes. We ordered one pair in November and my husband liked the feel and needs the 30-40mm of compression. So we ordered two additional pairs and now one pair has a hole in the heel and another has holes in each toe area. We sized them correctly, according to the directions provided. We just missed the Amazon return window. I cannot find anywhere on the Amazon Jobst Store where I can get help and the manufacturer will only deal with a vendor not a consumer. We are out over $100 and are VERY disappointed.

Compression socks
My husband has lymph edema and need to wear these every day. I wish they lasted longer the toes and heels tend to get holes in them after maybe 3 months

Jobst is my go-to medical grade compression socks.
Jobst has always worked well for me and when I need medical grade compression, Jobst is my go-to! There is a reason why so many vascular doctors recommend, or write prescriptions for, Jobst compression socks when patients require medical grade compression.
