Smith Optics Squad MTB Off Road Goggles

Update: amazon customer service was unhelpful. I reached out to the seller and they responded promptly that they would rectify the mistake. I have not heard back that is definite. I will update and change rating once things get sorted.This item description clearly states that there are two lenses included, a mirrored installed and a clear. It did not come with a mirrored lens at all. Very disappointed.

Note: these goggles only come with a clear lens only (which I only wanted)I use this when mountain biking. Takes getting use to compared to safety glasses or sunglasses. But this helps keep bugs away from your eyes, especially when going down hill at a fast clip through rough single tracks! Been there done that with regular safety glasses!Has some vents around the lens. Depending on the weather, can get foggy. And warm when on the face. I don't have it on when riding uphills. And have to debate which one to use on extremely hot days on the trail. Best for shuttle rides in the heat. Like at a bike park.Still overall very good goggles, the strap hasn’t slipped off my helmet.Oh and I always put it away right after a ride in the microfiber pouch it comes in to reduce scratches. Like any glasses. They’ll eventually have scratches.

I love these. Switched from basic clear 100% goggles. What a difference. I have a smaller face and these fit well. The comfort is better, the ventilation is better, the field of view is better. The visibility through the Chromapop lenses is excellent. I also started using tear-offs to protect the glass from scratches and dirt, and those work well too. I just wish the tear-offs were available on Amazon, I had to buy those directly from Smith (which was pretty fast and painless). Bought a second pair for my son, he loves them too.

For baseball, golf and mountain biking, I've been wearing Oakley prizm lenses for years. While I likethe clarity and color pop of the lens a lot, I couldn't justify spending that much for their MTB/Mx version of goggles. I went on a limb to try these. I believe Smith's chromapop is just as good. Even in sweat, the comfort of the goggles is awesome. Super breathable. Lots of air breaths in. I had no issues with fogging. My only complaint is the nose bridge. I have a low nose bridge that the foam doesn't cover and leaves a gap. But the same is with Oakley goggles, so this is something I'm already used to. For $85 w extra clear lens, I am a super happy customer. Definitely coming back for more. Thank you Smith optics for an excellent MTB product.

I use Smith Interchangeables for Snowboarding but swapping these lens was very difficult. I wasn't sure if it was due to the cut of the rubber frame or the larger shape of the lens but it definitely makes me not want to have to do it again. Had to do a lot of pulling/pushing to get the notches aligned and it still isn't perfectly flush.Other than this issue, I am a Smith fan and promote them for mtb & snowboarding/skiing.

(Review for Smith Squad MTB Goggles w/ the “Black/ChromaPop Contrast Rose Flash” lenses)As with every Smith product I’ve used, these goggles are exceptional: I wore them literally non-stop in Brevard this past weekend on Farlow Gap/Daniel Ridgeand never took them off while riding in DuPont State Forest. They don’t fog, and keep sweat out of your eyes better than glasses, as well as keeping your eyes fresh and not watering while riding descents.

I’m so disappointed these didn’t work out. If there were more pictures available it would have saved me the inconvenience. I purchased these to wear for riding our Polaris Razor on dirt trails in Michigan. Unfortunately these have ventilated holes all the way around the frame which allows a ton of dust to get inside the goggles, defeating the purpose of wearing them at all. I will be returning.

So far so good. The fit is excellent with my Specialized Ambush helmet. Other goggles press down on my nose making it difficult to get air through it - this pair must have a wider nose piece because I'm not experiencing this issue. I ride mostly in the woods so the clear lens that came with the googles are perfect. I'm sure I'll use the other pair when on road trips into sunny areas.

Brille ist echt gut au wenn im Vergleich zu anderen bisschen teurer. Beschlagen =0. Hab mir die Farbe Red Rock bestellt, aufem Bild sieht sie eher orange aus geht aber stark in rosa rein. Blickfeld ist echt super.Update 2 Sterne Abzug:Während der Fahrt beschlägt die Brille nicht, doch wenn man kurze Zeit steht beschlägt sie doch recht schnell das nervt doch ein wenig und man kann nur weiter fahren wenn man sie vorher reinigt wobei man das Visier eher verschmiert als sauber bekommt. Das Visier bekommt zudem sehr schnell Kratzer was das Sichtfeld dann doch auch einschränkt aber man kann trotzdem noch gut damit weiter fahren. Ps: Hab die Brille in 2 Bikeparks jeweils 1 Tag getragen. Ich hatte noch keine andere vorher, daher kann ich auch kein Vergleich daraus schließen.

Da schreien die Torten nur so aufm Trail, wenn Du mit solch nem Techstuff-shit daher-ridest! Sexy Blicke garantiert! Ob Drops, Step-ups oder Gaps - mit dieser Sehilfe zukünftig alles kein Problem mehr. Attention!!! Auch Deine whips, Deine truckdrivers oder kickflips schauen für Dich mit diesem Styleteil bald viel krasser und durchgeboneter aus als für alle anderen. Qualità eccellente e come in descrizione bellissima e ottimi materiali. Leggera sia per casco downhill che per sciare, arriva con la mascherina a specchio bellissima e quella trasparente.

Ordered same one 2 days before this one and I was so impressed that I ordered another one. It turns out this item had exactly same description, title and price, but it is not even close to other one. No extra lense, no box, no protective film.

Beste mtb goggle die ich je hatte. Beschlägt nicht, sitzt fantastisch (sowohl an einem Fox Rampage Carbon als auch an einem POC Tectal), orange Färbung ist sehr angenehm und nicht zu stark.
