installed in my 1997 Chevrolet Silverado K1500. perfect fit. This 4x4 Transfer Case Shift Selector Switch was super easy to install only took 2 minutes. I just gently pried out the old switch. Plugged the wire into the new switch and popped it back in. 4x4 now engaging...back to the mud!

No need to pull panel to install this switch . It will pop out from the front . I had been having problems earlier and noticed the light for 2 or 4 wheel drive not working . Had some snow and tried 4 wheel drive to get out of a steep driveway and wouldn't go into 4 wheel drive . Very easy and inexpensive fix .

I had an intermittent issue where my 4WD switch would not light up and the buttons would not engage. I thought it was a connector issue to the switch because every time I would jiggle the connector, the switch would light up and be operational. I decided to replace the switch. It fixed the issue, I also discovered the switch is backlit so at night you can see what it says in the dark, comes out as a blueish/white with orange indicator lights to tell which drive you are in. Glad it fixed my problem and good price!!!

Feels cheap but I’ve had it for a while and it has not let me down. Also the led make it feel like a new truck

Lights are brighter than old one and stays in 2 wheel drive mode my old the light would go out.

Replaced my 4x4 switch since mine was missing the actually electronics in it to use 4WD (it was basically a shell of just the 2wd/4wd buttons) got this installed within 5 minutes super easy and now my issues are solved and can use 4x4 again.
