There are a lot of reviews stating that the bike topples over easily. Is there a design that is safe and doesn't topple over?

It has less to do with the design of the bike and more to do with toddlers learning how to use the bike. My son definitely used to flip over the handle bars (which is why they should be wearing helmets when riding even this cute balance bike) however, after about 5-6 topples he learned to stop leaning forward on it and to hold his weight upright. He also flipped over my friends $100 balance bike so it’s not just the design of this bike. If you don’t want them to flip I suggest getting a tricycle.

What is the weight capacity?

My son is 2 1/2 years old & 35 lbs...the bike is still totally sturdy & smooth for him to ride. Love this toy!
