PHILIP B Peppermint Avocado Shampoo, 32 fl. oz. (947 ml)

I got a sample of this shampoo to try before purchasing the full size. I have always loved peppermint smell of shampoo. I have been using this shampoo for a week now and I have noticed a difference in my hair. I have long, red, naturally curly hair. I do also color my hair since it has started to turn grey. First thing I noticed was the smell. It does smell of peppermint. It's not too overpowering. Also, the shampoo does have a tingling affect. I never noticed it on my scalp, maybe if I used more, I would. When it got on my forehead, I definetly noticed the tingle. Do not let this get in your eyes. I was following the directions of letting it set on my hair for 1-3 minutes. Some dripped into my eye and it burned worse than regular shampoo. As for how my hair felt after a week of using, I noticed it does feel softer. The curls are a lot more curlier. I can't smell the peppermint after rinsing the shampoo out, but I do use a conditioner and other hair products, so that probably masked the peppermint smell. I didn't notice any change in the coloring. I did make sure that it said that it was color safe. I didn't want to see the coloring stripped from my hair any more than normal. There isn't much lather with this shampoo. Not sure if it's due to the shampoo having different ingredients than what I typically use, but it doesn't lather like the Dove shampoo I use. I don't mind using high end products. However, I do find that $44 for 11.8 oz of shampoo a little more pricey than what I am willing to spend.

Gotta say this shampoo would be great if only for how wonderful it makes the scalp feel. A+ on that peppermint tingle! I have only used it once...today, but I am reporting that my hair is shinier and perhaps a bit fuller. It feels like what I would expect healthy hair to feel like. I don't use a lot of styling products on my hair, yet I can still see and feel a significant improvement. I had previously tried a couple of other clarifying shampoos and did not like either of them. I have white hair and was a bit concerned about the dark green color of the shampoo. Turned out not to be a problem. My white looks prettier and more brilliant, not green, thank goodness. OK, shampooing is a chore for me usually, but I am sort of looking forward to the next time I will shampoo with this. I shampoo about once every four or five days since I do not have oily hair. I am wondering if I can use this shampoo every time or if I should limit it to 2 or 3 times per month.

Philip B makes the finest hair products on the market. He uses better ingredients and his products deliver as promised. Of all he offers to us, this is my absolute favorite. I love the way this shampoo smells in the shower. I always catch myself smiling as I massage my scalp and indulge all of my senses in the uplifting spearmint scent, the soothing sensation of avocado and the invigorating eucalyptus. If you have fine or listless locks, do yourself a favor and buy this shampoo along with the volumizimg lightweight conditioner which can be applied from root to ends no matter how in need of volume your hair is before the was and condition ritual. You'll be hooked. I promise. Philip's products are a little pricier than some other shampoos but it's an incredible value. Other volumizimg shampoos regularly disappoint and dry your strands. You'll love the way you feel after using Philip's shampoo, conditioner and treatment products. Try his detangler. It's brilliant!

I got a sample of this stuff and was really impressed by the smell, the tingles and the volume. I bought a big bottle of this expensive shampoo because I was also excited by all the natural ingredients. However, be warned that a big bottle wont last very long. It kinda takes a lot to lather and you really dont get the effect or experience you want by being stingy with it. I've got to admit that even when using this with the Philip B. weightless leave-in conditioner my hair isnt as soft and shiny as it is when I use my fav stand-by (Organix Coconut Milk) and since I am not rolling in the dough that kinda stinks since I went all out thinking this stuff was AWESOME. Dont get me wrong its still pretty sweet, just probably not a daily use kinda thing.

I have very fine, limp, wavy hair. In other words, my hair kind of sucks. I am willing to spend a lot of money to find hair products that will help make my hair look halfway decent. I originally heard about Philip B.'s Russian amber shampoo, which was heralded as a miracle shampoo by beauty editors. I decided to try a sample of the Russian amber before I committed to a $100 bottle. On a whim, I decided to buy a sample of the peppermint and avocado shampoo too. It was a total impulse buy based on the fact that I like both peppermint and avocado. I am so glad I randomly decided to get the peppermint and avocado sample. I was totally unimpressed with the Russian amber, but the peppermint and avocado shampoo was excellent for my hair. I love the tingly feeling I get on my scalp from the peppermint. The shampoo is very light and leaves no residue. It does not weigh down my fine hair at all. My hair feels healthy and has a lot of volume. This is the best shampoo I have ever used. I love it.

I received this shampoo as a sample with an order from another merchant and decided to buy a bottle because I loved it so much. The smell is wonderful but it leaves such a nice tingly feeling on your scalp when you wash your hair—which I love. Gets your hair nice and clean without drying it out. Worth the price!

Worked well the first few uses (about 2x per week) now I can't seem to tell a difference between it and regular drug store shampoos. The mint scent was strong and tingly on scalp for the first 2 weeks but then noticed it sort of faded out. Don't know if this is a shelf life issue or if my hair and scalp just became accustomed to it but sadly won't buy it again. I would have gladly continued to purchase this high priced item if it had worked a little better, but its not the one, especially for that price tag.

Utilizzo questo shampoo da molto tempo. È a base di ingredienti naturali, quindi i risultati sono apprezzabili utilizzandolo con costanza e nel tempo. Rende i capelli lucidi, proteggendoli anche dallo sporco, e forti. Ha una profumazione mentolata che però non persiste a capelli asciutti. I miei capelli sono di colore naturale biondo/bianchi e l'uso di questo shampoo evita l'ingiallimento e mi consente di evitare l'utilizzo di prodotti anti giallo. Amazon sempre veloce e preciso

This is a great shampoo for fine hair. It cleanses well and gives lots of body. It is quite expensive but I believe it is worth the extra for something that works.

予想より穏やかな香りでした。シャンプー前に2分程かけて丁寧に温水で頭皮を洗い流してから、商品を使用。初めはスースーしませんが、次第にスースーします。シーブリーズのようなスースー感はありませんが、使用後のスッキリ感は満足です。強すぎない品の良い香りが良いと思いました。
