Better than expected
Bought both backing plates and drums from same manufacture and the fit better than expected. Had to re-use the bearings from the old drums and had to buy new seals as the ones they included were too small. Expected things to have some issues but these things I can work with.

Great if you just want a quick and complete replacement brake kit. You'll need to grind the mounting pad on the axle just a bit to clear the brake bolt in the back. Only if your having trouble clocking the bolt holes correctly. If not then it's simple as bolting it up, bleeding, and adjusting the brakes. These are side specific and have a left and right lable identification. Otherwise the larger brake shoe points to the rear. Nice looking parts that should be a much needed peace of mind. Highly recommend.

Make sure you check the bolt pattern for a direct match. But it is a good replacement.
The break drums set was not for my type of trailer but it was cheeper and easier to swap over to the old back plate, than ordering the ones from the manufacturer of the trailer. The swap only took about 15 minutes each wheel.

Great price to replace the surge brakes on my new-to-me popup camper. Got the camper at a great price because of the brake system needing a rebuild to pass inspection. These complete assemblies were only a little bit more than just the slave cylinders and very easy to install (once I got the old brakes off, that's another story). Definitely the way to go if you don't want to spend a bunch of time trying to replace just the slave cylinder on some old seized up, rusted out brake system

Nice clean and affordable way to replace entire wheel assembly with all new parts.
I installed these brake assemblies on the trailer for my 1992 Starcraft Islander. Simple 4 bolt installation took little time. The biggest problem was one of the brake lines was seized to the cylinder. Once that was taken off the installation was quick and easy. No messing around with dirty parts and struggling with springs. A great way to replace this type of brake system and the price was fair. Definitely recommend this product.
