ATT support was useless but was a bit apprehensive about ordering from Amazon. However, the remote worked perfectly right out of the package. For us, we did not need to reprogram, but you MAY have to program yours. The remote works with our Samsung TV and ATT cable box. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. I am sure some folks think this is as good as it gets. I followed the instructions on the back of the remote to do a quick setup. The remote responds to the TV shutting off and on. It responds to the volume control. And that's all it does. Then I opened the paper instructions. followed them to a T and nothing changed. Ninety-eight % of the remote is useless. In the picture of the product it has an A&T symbol, both the remote sent to me a sticker reading "Made in China", no indication of AT&T at all—shame on AT&T for making customers buy new remotes.
