Review: Phenomenal Cutter!!! - ***It’s been 3 months since I wrote this review. I still love the cutter. It’s worked perfectly for my needs. My latest project was cutting Siser Easy Weed HTV to make some Tshirts. I bought the rolls off desertcart in 12” widths. They worked flawlessly. The cutter does have some quirks like needing to make sure it’s connected and talking before sending the file but that’s easy to do and the cutter walks you through it each time. I also didn’t know the difference between servo and stepper cutters at the time as I’ve only had stepper motor cutters. If you need absolute precision because the material you are cutting is very expensive and cannot afford mistakes then a servo cutter is what you want. This would be for cutting window tint or Ppf for example. Only a servo motor cutter would know at all times what it’s cutting versus a stepper knows just how many times it needs to move left to right to do the job. They cost a lot more of course. If you are just cutting vinyl it’s not needed especially if you are a hobbyist. This isn’t my first cutter although it is my first one in 17 years with my first one being a Roland Stika SX-8 that has been nearly bulletproof. Compared to that old technology, this cutter is incredible in every way. It’s fast, it’s accurate, it’s easy to use. I did need to make a call to tech support which was pleasant. I called because the pinch roller on the far right was stuck and I wasn’t sure if it was supposed to move. I was pressing and pulling so hard I was afraid of breaking it so I called Support to make sure it was supposed to move. The reason being it wasn’t over the feed roller causing misfeeds. Eventually I got it free which was stuck on that screw head. Setting up the blade was straightforward and I made sure the Test Cuts worked first. I used the pen instead of the knife for early testing to make sure everything worked to avoid damaging the blade. I imported some Illustrator files into the Vinyl Master app and it cut the files flawlessly and so fast I thought it didn’t do anything. It’s amazing this cutter is half the cost of my tiny 17 year old cutter and so much more sophisticated! If you have never set up a cutter before, get some help from someone knowledgeable because the cutter worked out of the box for me.

**Q: Does this cutter works with Corel Draw?**
A: I use Corel Draw and Photoshop to prepare my files. By that I mean, I create my logo, design, etc. in the program (corel draw) and safe it as a low bit PNG file. Then I go over to the Sure Cuts A lot program / screen and import or place the previously created/saved file on the matt (desktop of surecutsalot). The critical part here is, that sometimes the matt does not show the trace / outline image I created, after hitting the cut window button. So you have to play around a little, go back to Corel and adjust, re-save the pic, etc. And redo. It does work for me, but remember.. the more lines, corners, trickiness your design has, this cutter has its limits. Now if you question is, if the Corel opens or works directly with the Cutter, without the SureCutsAlot software, I do not know or have not done that. All in all, if you are good with Corel and play around with creation - import / paste - trace - cut it will take you maybe an hour to figure it all out. The biggest problem I had, was that if the pic / design is not properly traced, even though it shows perfectly on the surecutsalot matt / screen, It will suddenly cut through the middle of your design /  vinyl and ruin a big batch of your material. Which was hard, because I hate wasting material. But if that happens, then the customer service recommends to redo/reimport, etc. But even better to create the design in surecutsalot from the start. surecutsalot does not really offer much design play room, so id rather redo. I hope this makes somewhat sense. I love the cutter for the price. And recommend it. Customer Service is American based and very helpful. I believe people get frustrated with the item, because they do not understand the connection between software and cutter. Good luck

**Q: Does it work with MAC? If so, what software is needed or not?**
A: ABSOLUTELY works with a mac!  I use it with my MacBook Pro all the time.  You can't use the included software and will need to purchase Sure Cuts A Lot.  IMO, it's a superior program anyway.  I LOVE it and use it with both my cameo 3 and my MH 34.  :)

**Q: Does it come with everything to get started? Someone said it did not come with the blades or vinyl banners..**
A: My machine came with blades, software, adhesive vinyl, two types of tape for application, and 2 magnetic blanks. As far as banners such as you would put your designs or lettering on, those would be purchased separately.

**Q: which tamano of this machine cutting area?**
A: You can cut approximately 32" wide by 10' long with the included software.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what I was looking for!!

I have used large industrial cutters, engravers, lasers, 3d printers and other CNC machines in the past. So I have a rather strong background in operating machines of this nature. That being said, I purchased this MH series cutter for hobby work at home, as an entry level cutter, I can't say enough about it, the price is right, and I was truly surprised with the ease of setup, and how quickly I was up and operational. Straight out of the box, the cutter base was easy to assemble (took about 20 minutes altogether and within 30 minutes I had cut my first set of stickers). The only issue I had during assembly was that the instructions were a little vague, so make sure you look up USCutter's video on youtube or on their website. Their video shows how to put the cutter together, ground it, hook it up to your computer, install the software and sets you up for your first cut. The software is definitely entry level as well, but is easy to navigate. While I use Adobe Illustrator and Rhino 3d to create my vector images, they import into the provided software with no issues. The only con I have with this purchase, is that USCutter requires you to keep the original box the cutter was shipped in, or your warranty is void. I have a small shop and it would be nice to be able to dispose of the box, but I understand that it is the best way to ship it back for servicing should you have any issues. All in all, great product, great price, and when purchasing as a kit, there is plenty of material for you to get started.
