Halo Top Creamery, Lemon Cake, 16 oz (Frozen)

Everyone in my household LOVES Halo Top! We follow a ketogenic diet, and this is the best ice cream you can buy as far as low-carb without tasting like powdery ice. It's rich and creamy, smooth with no real artificial-sweetener-taste, though sometimes i experience a slight cooling feeling on my tongue from the erythritol (though less so in the lemon than vanilla or strawberry). It's not at all unpleasant, just sometimes kind of unexpected. (The "cooling" feeling being equatable to like menthol "tingles," obviously ice cream is cold and cools your mouth but this is a little different.)The lemon cake flavor is my favorite- it's mostly vanilla with a very faint lemony taste, just enough to kind of mask the alcohol-sugars and deliver a very believable "full calorie" ice cream experience -- but obviously, it is so much better for you! I'm really excited to see Amazon adding more Halo Top flavors to their available items for purchase, every single one of them is custardlike perfection in a pint but without the guilt of sugary treats.

Everything about this ice cream is superior. I am a top fan because I could become addicted to the flavor and texture. It is my brand new favorite of all time ice cream enjoyment. The smooth just right lemon recipe has never been better, no matter the brand or price.

A number of the Halo Top flavors are remarkably good, considering that this is diet ice cream. For those who need to count calories, this product is a very welcome development since most diet ice creams taste lousy and get thrown out rather than eaten. I plan to continue to purchase this product regularly, but I deducted one star because the company routinely under-fills its containers, giving the appearance of significantly misrepresenting the volume being sold.

Don't get me wrong, it is not horrible, it is just not enjoyable. Nice consistency, but the flavor is really lacking.

I never got to taste the Halo Top, Lemon Cake Ice cream... My daughter got to the pint first. She said it was yummy and tasted like lemon candy. She's never had lemon cake, so now I have to make one...

Good lemon flavor. The texture of the oce cream waa nice and light.
