Wow in a word. The strength of this magnet - or magnets, two of - is awesome as once out the box, I clamped a torch in it and placed it on the nearest metal based surface, this being our fridge. Trying to pull it off was quite something! It comes in a simple enough box complete with assorted ‘sticky back’ pads to use to save marking your torch etc. The clamping action is smooth and adjustable to fit any size torch with a body diameter of 23 to 26mm it’s suggested in the product details. It’s so basic but works wonderfully well and the machining is first class - no rough edges, all as it looks and should be. I tried it the other evening with opening the car bonnet and clamping it there over the car engine and the light it gives out from ‘on high’ is amazing plus frees up a hand if needed in an emergency. I can also see its use with a hunting rifle with the twin magnets to hold it in place. Priced around £17-99 (as reviewed late August 2020) and made from a claimed aircraft grade aluminium, its a bargain

This is a perfect lamp mount for my rifle. I have used a soft rubber one with Velcro attachment in the past and have had to readjust it constantly over the course of an evening and every time it shifts it completely negates the alignment with the scope. The magnets on this one are STRONG - once it is fixed in place, it is going nowhere. Exactly as you want it. It is fairly pricey but worth it for the reliable hold it provides.

Absolutely love this torch holder. I wanted to put a smaller torch in it and there was enough padding pieces to enable me to comfortably fit my torch and it held strongly. The magnet is great and holds really solidly on the rifle barrel. Very good product.

Taking a torch with diameters ranging from 23 - 36mm this flashlight mount has super-strong magnets. It certainly isn't going to move a millimetre once attached to a metal surface.I have it attached to a steel roll-cage and we tested the holder off-road and whilst it may have loosened our fillings, the torch was securely held in place.Not cheap, but worth it.

Another really well manufactured mount For TrustFire. I was sceptical about this until it arrived and I took it out of the box. It's truly well made, very tactical and the magnets are way stronger than I'd expected. My only negative thing would be the extra weight that it will add and the difference to balance. That said, you'll be adding a torch anyway so it's not going to be an issue in this circumstance. Very convenient to be able to just add and remove when needed.
