ALLERGY DUST MITE COVERS CAN BE EFFECTIVE AND LUXURIOUS
The BEST SAFEST protection against dust mites, preventing Demodex. Beautifully made, soft even after multiple washes in hot water (hot water a must to kill mites). The zipper closure keeps mites out. Second purchase owned few months

Good quality
This is very good quality. I have had slipcases on pillows all my life, due to allergies, but this one seems the best quality. The zipper is covered, so no uncomfortable metal to be felt under a pillowcase. The fabric is a tight weave to help keep allergens in check.

Hig quality pillow cover.
This is an excellent pillow cover for allergies. It is silky, not bulky at all and comfortable. It seems to be working for us. recommended.

Been buying for all pillows to prevent dust mites in pillows
I love how soft the fabric cover is and the quality zipper. No more pillows slipping out. This brand is the only one I use to keep dust off our pillows. They are pricey but so is spending money on various lotions if dust mights get on your face. I sleep on it and have has no stains from face lotions. Most of our pillows will have pillow cases over this cover & I expect them to last because the fabric seems very durable.

Nice material! Not sure it works better than cheaper ones.
I can’t judge how effective this is at allergy protection, but it is a much nicer cover than the cheaper one I’d used for years. That one completely felt like plastic and was a bit slippery inside pillow cases. This one feels a lot nicer and is not at all slippery. I also don’t experience the crunchiness or crinkling that other reviewers have noted. That said, I did use a cheaper one for many years and it was fine. It didn’t cause any functional problems (the pillows didn’t actually slide out of the cases even though the covers were slippery). So I can’t say this one is really necessary with respect to the feel of the fabric. I am allergic to dust mites but I honestly can’t tell if anti-allergen pillow covers make a difference for me. I suspect that any help they provide is offset by the lack of an anti-allergen cover on my comforter, and maybe also my mattress. Alas, covers for those are much more expensive and I haven’t wanted to take the plunge.

Pricey but quality for allergens
i was initially concerned about the price compared to the other similar recommended products on here especially since those had 2 cases instead of one, but i figured quality over quantity. This queen pillow case is great under my Temperpedic pillow! i feel its worth the money, since im extremely allergic to dust mites! they only need to be washed if they get wet and there’s great allergen tips in the handbook from this brand. i’m about to order two additional standard cases for my other pillows on my bed!

Well made.
These dust mite covers are very well made and fit perfect on our brand new pillows. My wife has really bad allergies, so we needed this 100% dust mite protector. Very soft for under your pillow case. Would recommend.

Actual Allergen protection without PVC/vinyl
Mission: Allergy is serious about their products. I did quite a bit of research before I ordered a set and found out there were only two or three companies that made products that offered real protection* without going to a pvc/vinyl sheet/coating. And I decided to go with Mission: Allergy and haven't looked back! Overall, I am VERY satisfied with my purchase. But from what I remember there was plenty of information out there espousing the positive points of the product. So I will skip over all the good and get just to the potential critiques. Be aware that they will make the pillow a little louder and slicker. It's not quite the same, but the closest I can think of it is it almost feels like a silk pillow case when you run your fingers across it. But remember, it's not the final layer. Unlike silk I never noticed it getting hot sleeping on it. Be prepared for a slightly crinkle/rustle as you move your head around. Every once in awhile there are some weird creaking/rustling sounds that I think are due to a combination of a memory foam pillow and this encasement flowing air at different rates, but they don't last long. (E.G. when you roll over and a low pressure zone is created between the pillow the encasement and the pillow is trying to suck up air faster than the encasement will let it pass through.) Also be prepared that the added slickness of the polyester encasement means that won't stay in the pillow cases as well. They may try and wiggle out every now and then, but a quick shake puts them back in their place. In the end, it's one of the of few products that seems* to give a real degree of bedding protection without going to the PVC/vinyl coatings that are impossible [for me] to sleep on. Yes, I know that polyester is synthetic and may be closer to vinyl than it is to cotton, but the bottom line is that Mission: Allergy has developed what seems* to be a real allergen barrier that is getting closer to cotton's sleeping performance. *I am not qualified to say how well something works from an allergen perspective. But I can comment on how it affects other head-on-the-pillow-aspects.

Am very happy with my purchase. It fits my standard pillow and was bought to replace my current Tencel Protect a bed waterproof ones. If they could also be waterproof with the same strength of cutting out allergens and still with the same feel, would be ideal but maybe I am asking too much. I had wanted to get 4 pieces but am not sure if it’s the Amazon system but I was only allowed to purchase one piece at a time and the delivery charge would be for each piece which made the pricing very high. The overseas shipping charges could not be shared. That’s my only grouse. I therefore only bought 2 pieces, as separate purchases. I suspect they came from different sellers based on the different packaging when I received them. I may be wrong. Maybe Amazon can clarify the reason for this.
