The tape is a little thicker than Makerbot's, but that made it easier to apply and it holds up to more wear and tear.

Works fine on my Folger Tech Cloner 3D Printer Kit But I need to cut it. Also It scratches very easy so it will peal. Most likely do to my Z axis not being level enough. Oh well.

I've never had to heat the bed before for PLA. I do have to with this stuff. I was hoping to get away from using hair spray. It holds with the bed heated to 60c but it's a pretty weak hold. I'm not using the spray, and so far I haven't had a failure at this heat, but I will be keeping very close watch on lengthy prints.(next day) Okay, two failures with larger footprint objects and a bunch with smaller objects. Nothing adheres to this stuff. I tried using hairspray on it, too. Even the hairspray doesn't work with it. I tried 3 different filaments, all of which have been successful in the past.I originally gave two stars. Now I'm dropping it to one.

Probably my fault for going with something this thin, but if a part was really stuck down, it would rip the tap off. I would only get a dozen or so prints with a sheet before I had to replace it because of tears. If you want to use this for a 3D print, I would suggest something a lot thicker.

I bought this to use on my heated bed (Printrbot Play) and had a really hard time getting it to lay down well without any bubbles or creases. In my opinion it isn't thick enough anyway and I probably won't use it again because of this despite having a lot of it still.

Wasted one sheet the first time applying it on my 3d printer. With the help of a little soap water the 2nd sheet applies nicely with almost no bubbles. Now my abs prints are sticking much better even without any glue stick

You get what you pay for I guess. This Kapton Tape is too thin to adequately improve bed adhesion. At first I was thrilled to get 10 for the price of 1 of the ones I typically buy. I doubt applying 2 would even produce the required tackiness required to print ABS without a raft. I could not get even get PLA to stick.
