Works well with phones, Great for watching your phone during chores
These good neck mount is great for holding your phone on your desk or bed side. The first thing I will say about this is that uses a ball joint that you can replace the clamp with something else. I have a space tablet clamp that I can use with this device. Although it can, the actual neck is thinner than other goose neck clamps I have seen. This is more so for phones and not so much tablets. I did try it with the tablet but the weight was too much for the neck and it actually sagged down. Regardless, the phone clamp it comes with is pretty nice and keeps your phone from slide or falling off. It is padded so it will not scratch your phone. It also is very different from many other phone clamps. It looks more like those hair clamps. It has enough slack to fit a phone with a thick case. I have a note 10+ with an otterbox case and it is able to clamp it without much issue. You cannot clamp a tablet with this clamp as it is not meant to do that. I also tried it with a battery case on but it actually was not able to support the phones weight and the goose neck actually start to sag down. So if you happen to have a battery pack case, it may have a hard time handling that weight. I actually tried to replace the clamp with a wireless charger one (the one for a car). It works like a charm so I can actually charge my phone easier on this. It is actually quite nice because I can just put my phone on this and it will wireless charge. The minor issue I have seen on this is that the neck can wobble if you happen to put too much weight on this. Yes it does hold your phone but does it hold it without shaking? It does to an extent. The moment you try to respond to text or type , the stand will wobble. The minor shaking here and there is not too annoying. The neck itself can be turned and folded but it does take some strength to do it. The clamp can be placed on majority of surface no thicker than I would say 1 inch. You tighten the clamp like tightening a bottle of soda and there are protectors in between the clamp to prevent damage to the table. In order to secure the clamp, you have to twist the neck to tighten. Once it is tighten it actually holds pretty well. Overall I think this goose neck mount works pretty well. You are able to have something to hold your phone on your desk or bed side without having to worry about it falling on your face if you happen to fall asleep. It is sturdy and strong but does have a minor shake to it.

Life changing !
This has been amazing! So many ways I have used it so far:1. I've been able to attach it to my double stroller so my babies can watch something and I can run in peace.2. Attach it to my side of the stroller while my babies sleep on the 3 mile trail and I can finish watching an episode of the good doctor :)3. Attach to my kitchen counter so I can read the cooking Instructions while doing it4. When it's my turn to wash the dishes I can attach it to the sink count and I can wash and watch another episode.5. Tomorrow we will try a other option. Attaching it to the middle section of our car so both babies can watch a movies during our 3 hour drive.I mean the cable is so long and the clamp can get pretty wide so that makes it more versatile. The cable is not the easiest to adjust but play with it enough and you will figure it out. It is not super compact but I don't care. This baby is going to the airplane!

Not the best, but serves its purpose
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a phone mount to record time lapse videos and found this one.Positives:1. I liked how the stand was able to attach to most surfaces with a ledge, and in my case a step stool with a handle. The clip stand screws on easily and does not damage the surface because of the padding on the clasp.2. The gooseneck part is also stiff enough to allow for manipulations.Negatives:1. The bracket for the phone needs to be strategically placed as to not press down on the side buttons, where at times, this can be difficult to do when also trying to press record as I did not want to use the front camera for recording.2. The rotating swivel also does not have a large range of motion as my phone has snapped off and fallen on the ground during initial placement. The gooseneck itself needs to be manipulated as opposed to rotating the phone, which is not something that you would think of when you’re setting your phone up.3. The phone holder cannot handle a lot of weight as my phone has a wallet case. The phone bracket sagged and recorded the floor during a large portion of my time lapse video which was highly disappointing.4. It is bulky to store awayOverall, it is not the best phone mount stand, but serves its purpose and is a good value if you’re not looking to spend a lot of money.

Hard to bend
This takes a lot of muscle to bend and often unclips from the table when I try to move it. In theory it has a long arm but since it’s hard to move I would rather have a shorter one. Only plus is it has a good grip on the phone and the clip also has some rotation. Would go with a different product if I were to need another phone holder in the future.

Flawed designed leads to early breakage
It’s very bendable and easy to adjust. It will bounce around. I mounted it to my headboard to use to watch Amazon Prime movies in bed. But after adjusting periodically to lay on left or right side to watch videos the wire finally broke inside the clamping mount. Now the wire just spins around and won’t hold my iPhone regardless of how I try to adjust it. Not really anyway to repair it unless I could epoxy the broken inch or so back in the mounting shaft Ann the perhaps drill a 1/64th inch hole through it and tap a pin in it but then that would cost more than buying another one. If you do decide to buy this thing it’s highly recommend that you set it up once and then never try to adjust it. Mine broke on the twelfth day after I received it.
