Vinyl Repair Patch Kit

I've got to say this tape is absolutely phenomenal! I first purchase this in 2016 to use on my bass boat vinyl seats to cover some cracking and large tears. I literally do not know how this stuff is as good as it is, but it's been almost 10 years and the tape I applied in 2016 is still stuck firm, no water leaking, no cracks, no yellowing from sun exposed, and it's still soft and stretchy. It truly is the best I've ever seen, incredible. 300% can recommend for repairing boat seats! Amazing.

Worked great on my bounce house ! Easy to use! Very durable ! Glues holds great even with the water on ! Sealed the patches great and worked great for the size !

I used this product along with SEM vinyl coat spray paint to attempt an alternative fix to a very damaged sundeck on a 20 yr old boat. To reupholster this boat would have cost more than the vessel was worth so this was an affordable alternative. For what it is, I'm happy with the results. I will say this product is probably not meant for such an enormous overtaking and I struggled with making clean lines over curved areas. If you are using thus tape for smaller projects I think you would be very happy. I'll write an updated at the end of summer to see how this tape holds up on the water under the hot southern sun.

The only thing that works on vinyl

While it does work good at patching holes in vinyl siding, it isn't invisible as I've seen in demo's....BUT good to use until you can have the siding replaced..

Put this on a jeep Wrangler window and was surprised at how well it worked. Great product

I bought this tape as well as the sister product "A" to repair a rip in a pop up tent. The rip was about a foot long and right at the seam where the fabric, screen and vinyl window all came together right by the door. Now, one of these tapes is for vinyl and the other is for everything else so the problem was how to make them work in this situation. I managed to do it by overlapping the tape that works on everything else onto the tape that works on vinyl. As I'm writing this, I don't know which is which. What I do know is it has held and repaired a foot long tear. Because the tape is clear, it is not as ugly as it could be. It's not invisible, but it does the job in a apot that I thought would be impossible to fix. I'm very, very pleased with this product. Because it stretches once it is applied, it is holding and I believe it will hold for some time to come.

I've tried lots of tapes to repair my Vinyl hottub cover. This is simply unmatched. It stays stuck down. It's slightly stretchy so it adapts to tugging. And it has a clear matt finish so it's not glossy. It almost disappears like magic transparent tape does. Not quite but much more than shiny tapes do. The next best tape for repairing vinyl is the 3M patch tape. That stuff costs about 1/10th as much as this. But it is not even close to this in the quality of the repair or durability. The main four features that are totally worth your money are: 1) the glue does not get gooey in the sun. If you already tried Duct tape you know what I mean and are regretting it and reading this review. 2) it does not loosen when it gets wet. If you already tried packing tape or the 3M patch tape you know what I mean and are reading this review 3) it stays stuck and is flexible so when the reapired item flexes (it is vinyl) it does not peel up. 4) it's very very tenaciously bonded yet quite strong and durable material. No other tape I know of has those properties. Now if you are going to have huge sheer forces on this it might stretch too much. But other than that thus is simply an unmatched wonder product and totally worth it's price. I balked a buying it the first time around and tired everything else that was much cheaper. THe only problem I had with it was that once you pull the backing up this stuff is really thin and flexible, you can get it stuck to itself really quickly and have to start over. it sticks way too well to itself to unpeel it.

Cuando sin querer rompí mi silla de vinyl me puse súper triste porque estaba absolutamente rasgada y no había forma de que una reparación con vinyl adhesivo se viera bien. Investigué mucho y aunque me pareció caro compré estos parches. SIRVEN y valió cada centavo que invertí. Como el parche es transparente casi no se nota el arreglo. Eso sí, pega como la fregada y súper rápido. Deben tener mucho cuidado al colocarlo.

I have used Type-B Vinyl Repair INFLATABLE kit for my inflatable boat and it worked VERY WELL. I borrowed it from my friend. Then I ordered this exact one as on Amazon website I saw it is exactly Type-B, Vinyl repair and is 1.5 meters long, so excellently priced CAD 38. HOWEVER, when this item arrived and I read the instructions, it did NOT RECOMMEND this exact box for inflatable boats. On Amazon website there is another one which is again Type-B Vinyl BUT ALSO ON THE BOX IT STATES: INFLATABLE. So, the repair kit by itself is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED but be CAREFUL to ORDER THE RIGHT BOX: Type-B Vinyl INFLATABLE. This is missing in the online description of this item. But it is visible on the item photo online. If this will help even one more customer to avoid the little disappointment and additional work I faced, I will be happy!

Works well to patch cracks and holes in vinyl siding. Should take vinyl siding specific paint well, to make a perfectly hidden repair. Almost undetectable.
