Needs some fiddling, but works amazingly!
Prints amazingly! However getting there is the hard part. Printer requires a software update out of the box. The WiFi capabilities and web slicer are terrible and not dependable. Printer drops the WiFi connection randomly. After updating you can use a different slicer that is actually very good. I personally use ChiTuBox which lets you export as a .photon which the update allows the MP Mini to read. You can also control many more settings than previously allowed. Not sure why there is a rating for a touch screen, but the screen is absolutely not a touch screen.

Spend a bit more and buy something that's worth the money
I like Monoprice's rebranded FDM printers. I thought I'd give this SLA printer a shot.Setup: Out of box setup. You unbox it, remove packaging materials, and go.Ease of use: I wish they'd go back to the touchscreen interface of their older FDM printers, but the three button approach works, albeit annoyingly. Pour and go, though cleanup is a pain in the ass.Software: Terrible. Firstly, you WILL need to get a firmware upgrade from the website. The printer is near useless without it. Secondly, they offer three different slicers only one of which is worth a damn and you have to register with the company to download updates to it, which you WILL need. The web portal for this printer is terrible, and freezes each time it is used.Prints: Only the first print I got came out worth anything. I've not had one successful print beyond the sample. It is not worth the time and effort. The initial print goes okay. The rest is an exercise in futility. I've not been able to get one print beyond the sample print that comes on the microsd card to work properly. And in the last instance, it cured the resin to the FEP lining in the resin vat, rendering it totally useless. This one is a dud.

The automatic leveling didn't work properly
The automatic bed leveling didn't work. It was a friction plastic on plastic construction that after a week of use, stopped holding tight and it failed to pull the print from the FEP without tweaking the build plate. When the plate shifted the print was ruined each time. I think this printer does a great job printing and would be a good value but the auto leveling has got to go or get reworked. Also one of my steppers made some noises like they missed steps during movement.

UPDATE-Bad reviews either don't know what their doing or are for V1
Edit after going through 3 in approximately the same amount of weeks. IF you get your hands on one with a good screen, this product is great(join the fb groups, you can see testament of great prints there) that's a big IF though. First printer I received was a used v1. Dangerous to send these used as the resin was EVERYWHERE from the first owner not cleaning it up before shipping. Second printer, which replaced the first used unit was a brand new v2 as advertised. Had a bad screen, the masking screen, not the ui screen. There were several spots that stayed activated at all times making spots where resin wouldn't cure. This at best created a pitted surface and at worst failed prints. Monoprice won't warranty anything within Amazon's return window, so back it went with another replacement sent my way. This third printer had a perfect screen, and produced several (very pretty but dimensionally inaccurate) parts-this is important. The x and y axis are easily calibrated using a similar method to calibrating steps per mm on an FDM machine and I was soon dialed in on those 2 axis. Here's the rub. There's no way to calibrate steps per mm on the z axis. Since the printer doesnt have a way to connect to a pc (even if it did it runs proprietary board and software) there's no way to even establish whether a command to read or set current steps is possible. I got the deviation down to 0.06 on x and y but was seeing a difference of +/- up to 1mm on z with no way to correct for it. "fine" I thought "I'll just use this for pretty but non functional pieces" the deviation enough to ruin functional parts but not enough to skew the print too bad to the naked eye. Sucks for me as I specifically bought this printer to make parts (an effector adaptor and a carriage adaptor) for my delta FDM machine. Those parts need to be as close to perfect on all 3 axis as possible and the z wasn't cutting it. After a day or two of perfect but dimensionally inaccurate prints, the 3rd printers screen began exhibiting the same problems as the second. Dead spots began appearing all over the display until no successful prints were possible, total successful print time was less than 30 hours. TL;DR VERSION- IF you get one with a working screen that continues to work as long as expected and don't require parts that are dimensionally accurate-great machine. IF you have an easy supply of money, screens to replace these as they go bad, and patience- great machine. Otherwise, spend a bit more (or stick to FDM) and get a better machine. The main difference between V1 and V2 is Z mechanism. V2 addresses the wobble issue with a new guide system. Works great. Any complaint you read about this printer below can be universally applied to all SLA printers and usually come from lack of understanding and expectations that just aren't realistic. Bottom line, if you can print the test pigs successfully, there is nothing wrong with the printer and any other problems are user error.1-It works, go in with that mindset and troubleshoot your issues. If the bed is leveling correctly, and your prints just aren't sticking to bed and staying on the FEP, use the tape method to fix, find it on reddit or join one of the community groups on FB- Do this before you even try your first print. Also, check for dust, clean everything with alcohol, move on. If prints aren't printing after the test pigs, there's something between the bed and the fep keeping the bed from getting close enough. Probably left over, cured resin from a previous attempt, get your gloves on and feel for bits left on the fep and build plate, use your (gloved) fingernail to pick it off.2- Your slicer settings are probably wrong. You will need to play with exposure times, raise speed, height, etc. Don't be intimidated by this. Again, join a community on FB or reddit for support.THIS (AND ALL SLA PRINTERS) are not beginner friendly. You need to know what Getting yourself into. Aside form the cost of the printer, you need (just to get started) a couple liters of 99% IPA. a container (with a sealing top) to store the IPA, lots of gloves a curing light, a bottle of resin and either a garage, a fan sucking air out of the room its in, or a serious carbon filter and an enclosure if the prior two placement options aren't available. The resin supplied will get you through a test pig print and something small, but not much, you will be out before you know it. You don't NEED a was and cure from anycubic or elagoo, but its really nice to have if its in the budget. If you decide NOT to go with a wash and cure, use it as a guide for what you need to buy for your post processing solution.Lastly, you don't need to wait until you can see the print to know if its successful. After EVERY layer, there should be a popping or slight tearing sound, this comes from the print releasing form the FEP. if you dont hear that sound, the print has failed and its sitting in the vat, not moving. Cancel the print, dump the resin through a filter back into the bottle, and clean the vat and build plate, checking for little bits of uncured resin keeping it from getting down all the way. This printer works if you know what you're doing and have appropriate expectations. Like all SLA printers, its smelly, its wet and or greasy after a while, and requires cleaning and maintenance. Get used to that.

works great after applying upgrades
I ordered the printer right after it was released. it had some issues that caused distorted prints and the print to come off the print bed. It was due to a weak steppermotor coupler and the auto-calibration assembly being too loose. due to my situation I was not able to return the item, but you can go on YouTube to find fixes for the problems. Once you apply the fixes and install the firmware updates the quality of the prints increase dramatically. The Version 2 being sold fixes the problems of the initial release. I am enjoying the printer now.

Great starter SLA
No complaints, the stock FEP tore after a few prints, but I'm new and may have been at fault prying off some stuck resin, replaced with nFEP, been working as advertised since.I especially loved the sample of clear resin, but keep in mind I've only tried one third party resin, that worked fine but that's a different review.

Don’t buy
Will not print. Z axis skips and wobbles
