PERFECT for me, might not be for everyone
I agree with all the other positive reviews defending this product. Sure its a little finicky but its a total learning curve to use. I found it to be cheaper, easier, and less painful than going to the salon. I generally don't have an amazing pain tolerance but I found this to be great because i can control how much hair I pull out at a time, unlike in the salon where they go for massive patches. I get less ingrowns and my skin feels great for weeks after. HOWEVER, I tried to use this on a friend and it was horrific for her. She has looser skin than me and she is total bleeder. It was so painful for her she wouldn't even let me finish. I tried to do it in very small patches but she screamed each time I pulled it out and couldn't bring herself to pull the hair herself. Mind you, she goes to the salon regularly so her hair wasn't overgrown or especially thick. So in summary, it may work for you, it may not... give it a try. It's only $12 and that a heck of a lot cheaper than a trip to the salon. If it doesn't work for you, leave an honest review but have some perspective that every one is different. On it's own merits, I find it to be a great alternative and a quality product for a crazy affordable price.

I would recommend this product
I was surprisingly impressed with this wax kit. I’ve been waxing for years at a professional salon and this comes very close to a professional waxing. The end results removed the hair, my skin was smooth and clean. The only thing I’m concerned with is the possible ingrown that could happen in the next few weeks. Pros: -easy to use - wasn’t painful, I’d rate it as a 7 on a scale of 1-10 - wax had a pleasant smell - easy to rip off / remove - perfect for course hair (I’m African American ) - soothing oil wipes included in the kit... made my skin feel so good after the waxing. Cons: - wax dries very quickly.. so move fast - not enough wax in the container to do a full Brazilian Tips: - buy a pack of jumbo wooden sticks. The box comes with two small sticks but it’s not enough. I found that the mini sticks (came with the kit) worked better on the bikini line and the jumbo sticks worked better on the top. - try to stay clam because when you sweat I found it more difficult to get the strips off - wax small areas instead of big areas - most importantly, make sure you hold your skin taut when you rip off the wax. - exfoliate your skin at least 1-2 days before waxing. Make sure the skin is clean and dry. - commit the the rip. Once you start don’t hesitant midway, follow through. - move quickly because it dries really fast - don’t drag the wooden stick on the side of the container to remove excess wax... you will end of wasting a lot of the wax. Instead twirl the stick to get the wax from dripping everywhere. - the wax did not reheat well. I moved too slow and the wax dried quickly. When I tried to reheat only half the container would reheat to the consistency I needed. Therefore a lot of the wax was wasted. I would say about 25%. I was not able to get a full Brazilian. Only the bikini line and the top, didn’t have enough to do the labia or buttock.

DON'T DO IT 😁😁😁😁😁
*i bought this product for Brazilian waxing I decided one day that I don't want to pay anyone for my Brazilian waxes anymore and that it was simple enough to myself. WRONG. I've done bikini waxing using soft wax on myself before and have used hard wax on others (I'm a licensed esthetician) With all of my experience and training, I thought it wouldn't be a big deal to try and do my own. It was horrible. Not only did it take forever (15min total with varying intervals) for the wax to heat to a consistency to be applied, but it wouldn't go on smoothly. Then when I attempted to pull the wax, it broke off. Long story short, I had to use oil, scissors, a mirror and my mom to get the wax off. Never again. I DO NOT recommend.

Soft wax good for bikini but not brazilian
The wax is easy to use. It is very soft. Beware, do not use on inner labia or pubes. Unlike hard wax used in salons, this one crumbles on thinner skin and is really difficult to remove. On the bikini areas, it took a few tries to get all the hair but it was painless. On the inner labia, it gets very messy, painful, and difficult. If you have a warmer, it might work better. I had to keep microwaving to get it to be warm and it got stringy and the sides were nearly frozen. Despite 7-8 minutes in the microwave, the wax on the sides just didn't melt. If Nair can make the wax harder, that might work better. Another thing, do not leave the wax on for any amount of time. When I left it on the required 30 seconds, it got very hard and difficult to remove. If it is hot and applied, then it can be removed right away. It wont get all the hair out but there is less risk of ripping your skin that way.

Best Hard Wax (imo)
Self waxing is definitely a pain, but this is the truth. I've used several types of waxes to try to get it right, but this is the truth. I wish the price was a little better compared to the size of the product. But here are my useful thoughts: 1. Great for course hair! I have afro-kinky, african american hair, and lets just say the carpet matches the drapes. This gets the armpit hairs, bikini line, Brazilian, upper lip and anywhere you can spread it! I never have an issue removing the hair, and i typically do this every 4-6 weeks to ensure the hairs are long enough. 2. It will cool down, so plan to rewarm. I've never gone through a session with this wax staying warm, so I just always plan to rewarm to make sure I'm at the right temp to get it done. Otherwise, you'll be annoyed at the second portion of your wax session, it just wont be as effective. 3. The size spatula this comes with is a joke. Get the larger tongue depressers, makes a HUGE difference. Happy waxing!

Absolute Best Wax
This is the best to wax with. It didn’t hurt like the others. It was easy to use and didn’t make a mess. Honestly I’ll always use this from now on!! If your bikini waxing this is a must use.

not good, better off shaving
first time trying wax without the strips, it hardens to fast and then i had to pluck my hair out wit the tiny pieces of wax becoz it wouldn't all come out as a strip all at once, not a good experience

Easy to use, happy with the result!
I was slightly worried when ordering this based on there being quite a few 1 star reviews, and I'm used to a salon wax each month, but desperate times call for desperate measures (quarantine). The wax did take longer to melt in the microwave than stated, but that wasn't really an issue, and the instructions are very easy to follow. The process would have been even easier had the hair been shorter, mine was around 15mm. It took me around an hour, and when comparing that to a salon wax of around 25 minutes, I think for a first attempt it's very reasonable. As I'd seen someone suggest on another review, I used a thicker stick to apply the wax, similar to those used in salons. I would say that you may struggle more with this if you have not previously had a salon wax, as I just did what I have seen my beauty therapist do with regards to removing and pulling the skin. I actually thought it hurt a bit less than a professional one, which is probably because I did smaller patches, and was more prepared for the pain rather than being comfortably lay on a beauty bed. I will definitely use this product again, and my flatmate has even ordered herself one too. The end result was great!
