I love everything about it but the filter. It seems very bulky but also not very dense to properly cleanse the air. Idk. I would say it does it’s job but the carbon filter is EXTREMELY THIN I don’t think it does much and the regular filter appears very thing as well like the lattice of filter fibers are not very dense. However I do know it works because after a couple weeks there is some discoloration and dust collection. So it’s not NOT working.The filter is attached to a thick plastic part that appears like it will be tossed after each replacement. Just seems kind of wasteful but I could be wrong on that part.The good is that the high speed setting is actually high so you know it’s working. I’ve returned an air purifier before after wondering what the heck it was doing even on high, a soft breathe was stronger. So this definitely has a good power and good settings to lower it down.Also the air intake is 360 around the machine. Most I’ve had only have from one side so it makes sense to capture air from all sides.I got a great Lightning deal on this so I’ll keep it around. It’s definitely working just maybe a couple points could better!Two month edit: this thing works great!! Check out my photo of all the particles caught on the filter. I had my doubts because the filter seemed light. I do unfortunately live with a smoker and two dogs and hard wood floors so dust is everywhere. I have a Renpho scale that works great. I’m impressed with this company overall!

Last year, I was gifted one of these air purifiers. I have a more expensive brand that never seemed to need cleaning, except for the front where the air came out which made me wonder how that could be. This unit has a feature that tells you it's time to clean the filter or air intake area and it works. It actually collects cat hair on the outside of it and so far I've been able to vacuum off the filter and reuse. It's quiet, has a small footprint, is easy to clean and it works! I just purchased another unit so I can have one in the litter box room and in the living room. My rooms are fairly small so not sure how it would work in larger rooms but I'm happy with the Renpho.

My three-year-old son suffers from allergies. We’ve never had him officially tested, but he suffers from seasonal allergies and pet allergies. We have four kitties and one dog. My husband and I are also people who suffer with seasonal and pet allergies. We have put up with it for so long that we didn’t realize there was an answer as easy as an air filter, besides medication . I spent three hours researching air filters. And I ended up purchasing two different ones. I Purchased this one for my three-year-old’s room, and then we purchased a Hathaspace Air filter that does larger rooms for our living room/dining room/kitchen area. For the last month my husband and I had been kept up by our three-year-old coughing all night. We couldn’t figure out what was going on with him because he didn’t seem sick during the day. As soon as we lay him down at night he would cough all night long. My poor baby was exhausted, not to mention his parents. I am also a registered nurse and started to realize that the symptoms started after closing my house up for the winter. We live in Montana and usually have an early winter. Which usually starts in October but hit us in September this year. Our inside air is nothing but recirculated dust, pet dander, pet hair and all the day-to-day things that you can find in anyone’s home. I am a fanatic about cleaning, but it didn’t seem to help our allergy symptoms at all. Last night was the first night we used this air filter in my sons room. He went to bed without coughing he slept all night without coughing and I just couldn’t believe it. We all woke up much more rested and feeling much better about the air he’s breathing. I’ve just hooked up the Hathaspace this morning as it was just delivered. I’m looking forward to see how all of our symptoms hopefully improve throughout the house. I will definitely be purchasing two more of these units one for our room and one for my older sons room. It has three fan levels none of which are too obnoxious. The highest speed of the fan I would say is a little noisier than what I expected, but it doesn’t seem to bother anybody. The night mode is perfect you can’t even hear it running and it has a gentle blue nightlight on the top that is not a deterrent for sleep. It did leave a mild odor in the room that reminded me of newness, it wasn’t plastic it wasn’t a chemical smell it was just kind of a fresh new smell. This morning I don’t notice an order at all other than his room smelling fresh. The filter replacements are reasonably price I have not had to change the filter yet but I did take a dry run to see how difficult it was just to change and it’s as simple as popping off the bottom and removing the filter and sliding the new one in. Very simple to operate. After painstakingly reviewing many many models of air purifiers I finally did settle on this one for my son’s bedroom and will probably be buying two more units for the other bedrooms.

My son has a tracheostomy and dust is number one enemy for him. It's only used in his bedroom where he spends most of his time and seems to work well for the one room. So far, these seem to suck up a lot of dust. I haven't ordered replacement filters yet because the filter is easy to wipe off. It is a quiet machine. The night light is a plus. I'll without a 5-star review until we have more time assess its long-term effectiveness. I hate dust, but it's just part of life.

I'm a smoker that lives in a 1100 Sq ft apartment,so I was looking for a air filter to reduce the smoke smell in my apartment. I usually crack a window open about inch or to to keep at least some fresh air circulation and an attempt to (plus experience plug-ins, candles and sprays) make my place smell better. I live on the first floor and have no patio or balcony so I smoke in my apartment and get the typical complaints. I bought the model after doing some research and I must say. LOVE IT. The air quality in my place has improved at least 95%. It is so quiet and I run it 24/7. I would recommend you place the unit closest to your sources of odor. The unit is compact and easy to find a spot to put it in that you can hid. This model has a filter that is extremely easy to replace. Takes less than maybe 2 minutes. It Also has a cool little blue led nightlight so you change the settings without having to wake up others in the room it also came with a nice $10 coupon that got it down to the mid $50's, which if you compare price versus options, quality, and other factors important to air filters make the almost a steal. I give unit a solid review and recommend it for any areas in your apartment, home and smaller areas. You'll be glad you purchased this unit. I highly recommend the Renpho brand. I use 4 diffferent products in the line. And consider them solid choices.

During our very hazy wildfire summer in Ontario, Canada, the smoky air had my asthma flaring up so I decided to try an air purifier. This one was a decent price so I decided to go with that and I have no regrets! It's much quieter than I expected, even on the highest setting, and it's super small and light, easy to move upstairs at night and downstairs during the day. I like that it has a nighttime setting, as well as a very obvious indicator light for when the filter needs to be changed. Within a few hours of having it on I noticed a difference in my breathing. Obviously this isn't going to fix my health issues but it makes living with chronic breathing problems that much more manageable.I also live in a relatively small loft-style apartment so while I can't say how this would work in a larger environment, it's perfect for a smaller home or just a room.That being said, this is a great value for what you get and I highly recommend this air purifier.

During the winter months it's so cold I smoke inside, it's done a great job of keeping the air clean and smelling fresher, works good in bedrooms, less effective in lounge room but it still helps, fan on high is bit loud, but unoffensive, sleep mode is quieter, like a gentle background airy noise, could be quieter, but again its an unoffensive white noise sound.Would like maybe a bigger one for lounge room

For the cost this is great. It's probably better for smaller areas but has worked a charm. Great to use when there are damp odours and in dusty areas to clear it up.
