I love this book. I have it sitting out in my living room and whenever I need a little lift I grab it and read a few pages. Anthony Bourdain was such a beautiful and interesting human being. This book will certainly testify to that. Gorgeous photos, heartfelt experts. A written celebration of stories from people all over the world, remembering a great man.

I preordered this when I saw it was coming out, and it arrived today. I haven’t read all of it, but have browsed through, and I am impressed. I wasn’t so sure as it was done by CNN, and honestly I’ve loved Bourdain since his show No Reservations on the Travel Channel. But it is a very nice tribute with beautiful photos and quotes from people both well known and unknown fans.

Received this one hour ago. Just finished it. This is a visual tour de force, and at the same time captures all the feelings that we all share about Tony. Many thanks to Amy and the CNN staff, the talented photographers and writers, Tony's friends and the countless fans whose hearts pour out across these sublime images. I feel better now.

Great images with lots of social media comments. It wasn't quite what I expected, but it is a very nice way to take the communications of today and stop them in time. It's a quick, but heart-felt, read. I'm glad I bought it.

So sad about this marvelous man. He was a masterful storyteller and I watched every episode of Parts Unknown, and most of the No Reservations episode. This book contains wonderful pictures of Tony on his travels and some very moving memories of him. Wonderful book to be shared.

What a lovely gift for CNN to give to Tony’s family. My thanks to them for sharing this with the world. The photos and sentiments tell the story of a man many of us admired for what he overcame and for what he shared with us and taught us. I was pleasantly surprised to see sentiments from people of many walks of life, all around the world. I expected to see only celebrity sentiments and instead found a mix of people who loved him, expressing shared moments during the most simple to the most complex situations. Some shared how much his work inspired them to cook, travel, and appreciate diversity in new ways. Others spoke about what an incredible listener he was and the impact he had on them. This is a beautiful book to own and to gift. I wish he was still here and free of pain.

This is a big book, (9 inches x 10 inches), 207 pages, with full size photos, spread on one or both pages, of Bourdain as we remember seeing him in so many places on his TV shows. Overlaid on the photo spreads are the wonderful comments that people, ordinary and famous, have made about the impact Bourdain's life has made on them. The locations of the photos are labelled, too. His dear friend, Eric Ripert acknowledges Bourdain, ".... as one of the great story tellers of our time....".
