The weight and size are perfect for my large paintings. I can't wait to get started on a couple of projects that I've been planning for some time.

Great quality

Canson sells this paper in a 4-foot roll, wrapped in plastic. However, Amazon put the roll in a box with no packing material (e.g., cushioning, bubble wrap) at the ends. Both ends were badly and irreparably crushed, such that I couldn't use it for artwork, as intended. More than an inch on either end were permanently wrinkled.

Great value and quality. It’s a little like wrestling to get it unrolled and cut, but aside from that, I will always buy it this way.

While it does work well for a custom size painting, I found it best to use small sample of the paper to test my colors out on before hand as they don't all come out the same as painting on watercolor canvas

Same weight and quality than higher priced art stores. This extra wide watercolor paper is at a good price. Staying home and saving money is a win-win.

Ordered this a couple weeks back and tore through the entire roll quick because I loved the paper so much.It's thick and heavy, but not a crazy amount of tooth. Smooth, it still absorbs a lot and because of the weight it has less of a chance of warping. So far I've used acrylic and ink to great delight.If you're looking for a solid roll of high quality versatile paper to cut to size, definitely check this roll out. ok paper. Getting into watercoloring I didn't know much, read a review that seemed good, but now that I understand the medium, I wouldn't buy it again. Its like a really thin cardboard.I'm not a pro, but with watercolor, the paper is probably the most important thing. Probably ok for kids.Huge roll, will last a while.
