Really good hair brush. I have thick curly hair but this brush tangles it so easily! Defiantly reccomend.

I've had this brush for a few years and love it. My hair is thick and can become quite tangled after washing and this is such a gentle way to detangle! I have also gifted one to my mum. The colours are girly and pretty and they haven't faded at all. It's so easy to clean and can be used in the shower to brush out conditioner.The only downside is I would probably prefer a handle. I wouldn't buy another brush until this one was broken but I'll definitely look for a version with a handle next time. The contoured design of this one does make it comfortable, though.

I would've never believed that a Tangle Teezer would be the solution for my annoying hair but, alas, it was. I honestly just bought it because I read a review of someone who said their autistic daughter would only let them brush her hair with this particular brush because it's the only one that doesn't cause her any pain - and I'm so glad I believed them! This brush has got to be magical. I used to spend half an hour brushing my hair and almost crying in pain and now I spend 10 minutes at most (and it's only 10 minutes because I have lots of long hair and because it actually FEELS GOOD). The person who invented these brushes is a genius and a saint and I hope they're living a happy life.

By daughter hated brushing her thick hair prior to this brush. It ended up looking like she had walked through a bush backwards if she "brushed" it and would whinge and whine if I did it because of the many knots.She begged me to buy this brush for her, I was reluctant due to the price, but to be honest I got fed up of the moaning and got it. It does seem to have done the trick compared to the "normal" brushes we have however and leaves her frizzy hair nice and smooth not to mention knot free.It is a good size for a 9 year old to hold and will fit in the palm of an adult hand comfortably. It feels quite sturdy and the bristles are made out of a plastic which has a little flex in it. The bristles are quite sharp though (probably due to their small size) so don't do what I did and plonk it on the kids head and brush like you would with a normal brush as it will scratch the scalp (and cause moaning!)It is a little expensive for what it is (hence 4 stars) but if you are fed up of kids wailing when it comes to brush time I do suggest trying one of these.

Our 4 year old daughter has very long, fine hair that knots just by looking at it. Every day there were tears when it came to doing her hair and it was becoming a bit of a battle. I'd heard of the Tangle Teezer however if I'm honest I was reluctant to pay £10 for a hairbrush as I didn't think it would make much different. How wrong I was. It's incredible!! Absolutely zero tears, no complaining it hurts, it just glides through her hair removing all the knots as it goes and she doesn't feel anything. I wish I'd bought this years ago.

I made the mistake of not buying an tangle teezer original entangling haIrbrush, i.e. a fake tangle teezer and boy did my hair regret it! This product is far superior to the wanna-be product, and I hate to say it you can tell the difference. I have a lot of fine mixed race/ Caribbean shoulder length hair which tangles itself into a knotted mass when washed or left to its own devices. I can use this brush when I have washed my hair to teeze out the knots/dreads. It can be gentle when used gently and carefully and I do not experience much hair loss. It detangles my hair in a relatively short amount of time and is comparatively pain free. I would recommend the tangle teezer for children and adults with the same hair texture as myself, but I can see that it would be great for all hair types long or short. The colour is great and vibrant it makes it easier to find.

I have thick, long hair that tangles all the time. My friends have these and they use them on my hair at the hairdressers but I couldn't get it into my head that a tiny handheld brush would make any difference to my hair. I was so wrong. I washed my hair and brushed it before drying, and the knots easily separated. After drying, I brushed again and my hair was left soft and knit free. I brushed through again about an hour later, and still there were no knots, even though usually they'd all be back by now. As well as deknotting my hair, this tangle teezer doesn't pull my hair out as much as a normal brush does, therefore I'm led to believe they are much better for your hair condition. Definitely recommend!
