It's a real chalkboard!
I read the previous reviews and the product instructions about not using chalk markers. This board is perfect for using good ole Crayola colored chalk on. It shows up great!I also really like the fact that one side is for the first day of school and the other side is for the last day of school. Most of the other boards out there for the same price only have one side done and you would need to buy the other if you wanted it.Overall, great deal! I plan to use this for years to come with my daughter now that she is in elementary school!

Do not use Chalk Markers!
Since this photos clearly show the board filled in with chalk markers and frequently bought together with chalk markers; that is what I did. Now it will not come clean. I only got to use it once! :( after wiping it the chalk marker text is lighter but still very visible. I wouldn’t be able to use it again.

Awesome
Im that dorky parent so I wanted to have that pic before and after the school yr so this was the perfect one cause it has the first day on one side and the last day on the other side and I will have this for a long time

Worthless
It arrived with a ding on the side. No big deal, I can just use a sharpie on the affected spot missing black paint. I wrote the info using chalk and attempted to remove the chalk less than 12 hrs later. You can clearly see what was written. I tried to scrub it clean, it’s still there. It’s NOT WORTH what I paid at all. I’m going to buy some chalk paint and paint over the areas I’m going to be writing on. I hope this salvaged the purchase.

Damaged
Tried product and was damaged upon arrival. Processed an exchange and the replacement was also damaged! Will not be trying a 3rd time. Other than damage product looked nice.

Pretty good product
I think it's a pretty product might the corner was chipped ok mine. I had to color it in with permanent marker to make it look ok.

Got the job done
It said not to use chalk markers but I did anyways. They did not come off all the way but that is ok.

Disappointed
It says it is 2 sided with first day of school on the front and last day of school on the back. The back was blank on the one they sent me. I’m not making a trip to the ups store to return it. So I’m a little disappointed. The product is fine quality and will work but it sucks that it doesn’t have the last day of school like it said it wa s going to.
