This is extremely cheap plastic and broke under normal use during my first use of this on a drill.

They fit my big Makita Grinder
They are injection moulded plastic handles and probably fine most of the time but it was demonstrated to me that in very cold temps the plastic becomes brittle and can break easily if dropped or such.-- I know because when I opened the padded bag that they were shipped in upon arrival, one of the handles was broken in three pieces. -- It was very cold out when they were on route to me and I'm sure that's how it happened. So I returned them but I will add this, If they were shipped in a cardboard box this would not happen.
