Dowco Guardian 50003-02 WeatherAll Plus Indoor/Outdoor Waterproof Motorcycle Cover: Black, Large

Mine was pretty much waterproof through some very, very heavy rain storms that came with some serious wind gusts.PROS:Very high quality at a premium price. Unlike a cheap cover, this one is fully lined and waterproofThe cover was thick and packs down to a basket ball size. It comes with a compression bag to help keep the size down. This was a XL sized one that fits a Adventure Bike with full-sized aluminum cases and also a full sized touring bike like the Harley ElectraGlide Limited and Honda Goldwing.Colorfast - so far so good. Most covers starts to fade after a month in the sun. Its only been a month and it seems very colorfast. I'll update this comment later.Rips - so far so good. Most cheap covers starts to "rip" with some cracks to the fabric after a month under the sun. This covers still look new after a month. It looked so "new" that it could be returned as new (which I obviously won't). Again I will update this over time.Vents - Keeps the bike dry from condensation and it make identifying the left and the right of the cover easily as the single vent is only on the left side On my XL sized cover, it is larger in the front (to fit the fairing) and also larger in the back (to fit around the saddlebags/cases).Waterproof. Yes it is waterproof. It's even waterproof from the pooling of the water over the low area on top the seat.Lining: The felt lining prevents scratches on the paint and windshieldHeat resistant material: on the lower part of the cover prevents melting of the cover when put on a hot exhaustCONS:Size and weight. This cover is thick and packs HUGE. It came with a compression sack, but still packs to a basketball size. It is also HEAVY. you can't just "fling" it over the bike to put it on. It's great to use parked outside, but not as a day cover that needs to sit in the trunk when removed.A second strap in the front near the front wheel lock hole would be nice. I find that the front of the cover, without a lock through the lockhole would sometimes pull up. Not a big deal, but would be nice to strap the front of the cover down through the front wheel instead of relying only on the elastic band in the cover to hold the cover over the front wheel.CONCLUSION: Excellent cover at a premium price Probably the best cover you could buy for the money.. If you are looking for a all around high performance cover and have a nice bike like Harley/Goldwing/BMW that is parked outside, I would recommend this one. For a day cover to use on a trip or at work, I would recommend a Anglink Waterproof Motorcycle Cover (see my review on the Anglink Waterproof Motorcycle Cover)

I love my new Dowco Guardian Weather All Plus XL Cover. I have a Yamaha Vstar 1100 Classic with windshield, sissy bar, big saddlebags, luggage rack and trunk bags. The XL size fits over everything including all the bags perfectly from front wheel to rear wheel and stays securely 4-5 inches off the ground to allow ventilation. It is very durable and waterproof and easy to put on and off as long as you start in the front and spread the elastic straps over the handlebars, turn signals etc. as u walk to the rear of the bike. Be sure to center it starting at the front. It works best if you leave your front wheel facing straight ahead as opposed to turned to engage your wheel lock. I use a disc brake lock instead. I can cover completely it in about 15-20 seconds. I enjoy putting the cover on, kind of like tucking your child in bed at night. I used to remove my saddlebags and trunk bags each nite but now I have complete confidence in the cover to keep them dry and UV protected, so I leave them on the bike.I LIVE IN MIAMI, FL Where we have regular TORRENTIAL rains. Weather All Plus has performed fantastic! My bike, seats and multiple bags all stayed bone dry. No leaks. The surround elastic straps on the bottom were strong enough to prevent high winds from budging the cover even tho I didn't secure the included high wind straps that cinch underneath the bike. XL is perfect size for my bike and accessories. I previously had a DOWCO ultralite cover size large, which is a much lighter weight fabric, and packs into 1/3 of a saddelbag when rolled tight as opposed to the Weatherplus which takes at least 3/4 of a saddlebag when rolled tight. The size large ultralite fit my Vstar 1100 classic well until I added the windshield and saddlebbags, then it was too tight to expand over the saddlebags and trunk.Dowco Guardian covers are great products. I'm exceptionally satisfied. I feel bad for any bike that is left out in the sun and rain when affordable protection is so easy to purchase. Its also great theft protection because until you get used to it, it can be awkard to remove, and you can secure a very effective, inexpensive alarm that activates when you attempt to remove the cover. FIVE STAR product !.

Looking for a cover for my new shadow phantom I was overwhelmed by the selection out there. All prices, all sizes, options etc. I wanted a premium all weather cover as my bike is stored outside all year round with hot summers and harsh winters to deal with. So far I am happy with my purchase , not cheap, not too expensive, seems to be in the middle. Has all the features I wanted and was made for this bike. Fits nice with nice quality materials, repels rain and dust well. Seems to be made of good quality, time will tell. It has a good warranty so we will see. Seems like a good investment.

Utilisé pour recouvrir un scooter Vespa sprint 50.Deuxième que j’achète de cette marque. Ce modèle plus récent est plus petit donc ne couvre pas complètement le scooter et est plus difficile à mettre. A voir durabilité sur le long terme.

Owned this for a year and a bit and already 3 of the inner seam coverings are gone . Not expecting it to last the winter . Looking for recommendations on a longer lasting all weather cover . As in ALL seasons . If using in light dutie storage this may work but in all day heavy outdoors ..... NOPE as it won't last .
