I don't know if those two words are often combined, but it fits! The garlic has a fig like quality - well a fig that isn't dried out but has nice tooth and texture. It's also somewhat sweet with a slight kick of bitter at the end. Unique and to me, delicious. I usually eat them right out of the container which gets expensive in terms of calories and money. If you eat enough of these, and believe me you could, it's like eating an all natural antioxidant snickers bar. I highly recommend, and I'm thinking about getting a food safe so I moderate to a max of 2 per day. They do NOT make you smell like garlic or have any of the fringe side effects garlic can have. Highly recommend! One pro tip- don't put them through a garlic press. It's ends up looking like a playdough worm. Not at all appetizing. Just eat them whole

My wife wanted some black garlic, because she's never had any before. I got her some for Christmas, and she loves it. She ate half of a clove just by itself. I like them as well, but not that much, lol.The flavor of these is intense. If I had to describe it, I would say it was somewhat similar to salty onion, but that doesn't really so it justice. It's definitely worth a try if you're curious.

This black garlic is wonderful. they taste great and is delicious. I was able to eat it as a snack as well as on salads. I was creative with using it and my fiancé also like it.

I really like the flavor of this garlic a lot. The fermentation process gives it a smoother, sweeter taste than regular fresh garlic. It also seems to eliminate much of the usual sharpness or 'bite' that garlic normally has. In a lot of ways, this stuff struck me as like the garlic equivalent to sweet Vidalia onions vs regular yellow onions, if that makes sense? The texture is definitely interesting and sort of reminded me of those soft, chewy type of fruit jelly candies. One thing to note, though: the product claim that there is no smell after eating is an outright lie. There is most DEFINITELY a smell after eating these (my S.O can attest to that, lol).

Don’t understand what others are talking about by mixing with mayonnaise, but in my opinion no need to ruin the experience. This product on its own tastes like candy! Can’t stop eating it. On my first bite upon opening the jar I immediately got back on Amazon and ordered another one before running out of this one just opened. Garlic Lovers Enjoy!

Incredible! I’m hooked on black garlic mayo now (two cloves, mashed up, in a half cup of mayo). These have a wonderful umami profile ... great addition to my kitchen stock!

This product was really delicious. I had expected a sharp taste, or something similar to regular garlic, but this is totally different. It's much like the texture of a gummy bear and its sweet, and delicious!
