A must for screen real estate enthusiasts
The reason this stand costs so much is that it is well made, and high quality, and the aesthetics are great. It put my 11 megapixel rig with little trouble. I think it took fifteen minutes to complete the install. Here is what I have:1 Dell 30" (2560X1600)2 QNIX 27" (2560X1440)The 3 star reviewer is correct that the arms sag. The QNIX 27" panels are not that heavy - really not any heavier than the 24" 1080p monitors that are common around this office. But I disagree with the reviewer that it is difficult to precisely position the monitors - it really isn't. The ball clamp should be just loose enough to maneuver the panel, but tight enough to make it stick. It really isn't hard. And I'll put up my OCD'ness concerning monitor placement against anyone's.Here are the niggles that took off a star:* Arms sag - even though this doesn't affect the setup, it seems like it shouldn't do that. My panels are not close to 10kg.* The "short" VESA screws are quite long. They would not go quite far enough, leaving a little bit of wiggle. A washer would fix that.* My desk has pretty standard grommets, but the pole would not fit through it without removing the clamp. The problem is, the clamp is pretty tough to remove. It is attached with an impossible-to-reach screw. There must be a way to further disassemble the pole, but I could not figure it out. I ended up putting the pole on the outside of the desk, which worked better for me anyway.* If you are into fancy cable management, look elsewhere. All this has are some optional plastic collars. I didn't even bother.BTW - the QNIX 27" monitors on amazon are a steal. I am seriously thinking of passing on my 30" Dell and getting another QNIX for the center panel. Just make sure you have Dual DVI graphics (most laptops need not apply).

Excellent triple monitor mount
I was looking for a monitor mount for three 24" Dell monitors (Dell U2412Mb). I discovered this monitor mount but I couldn't find a review anywhere on the web, and the pictures available were limited, so it was a gamble for me whether the product is good or not, especially since it's not a cheap mount. Fortunately it turned out to be excellent (but there are a couple considerations that I'll mention below). After reviewing other monitor mounts there were some features that were important to me:- I wanted a cockpit type configuration where the two side monitors angle in quite a bit.- I didn't want the side arms to droop which I heard happens with other monitor mounts.- It needs to fit wide 24" monitors properly.- And I wanted some flexibility in the positioning so that I'm not locked into a set position. This met all of those qualifications. I've had the mount for a couple weeks now. The mount is built of solid construction and seems like it will last indefinitely. It's also VERY configurable. I'm using it for 3 monitors for one person, but you can use it for a trade show or other configurations where you want monitors to come out of different angles and face different directions.I was continually impressed with the thought that went into this. You have full flexibility on the height of the middle and both side monitors so you can ensure that they line up exactly how you want them. The arms have a good reach and give most any angle I would want for the side arms.Side story: At the same time as I purchased this I purchased three new 24" monitors. I upgraded from 19" monitors that I've had for 6 years. I didn't realize how big three 24" monitors really are. If I were to do this again I would probably go with 22" monitors instead so that I can see everything easily in my peripheral vision. What I've done, and I'm getting used to it and liking it, is to have the middle monitor in a horizontal (normal) position, and have the two in a vertical position. It reminds me of dumbo ears off the side. I'm a programmer so I do my main programming in the middle monitor and I have things like Outlook, Twitter feeds, and web pages on the side monitors.I say this to mention that when I have all three 24" monitors (and they are wide monitors) horizontal then I don't get a really good cockpit angle on the side monitors. When the side arms are fully extended the angle isn't really steep before the sides of the monitors bump. It seems to be better than some of the other triple arm monitor mounts I saw, but it's not a really steep angle. However, with the monitors in a vertical position I can angle them up to (or past) 90 degrees. Also, if you had four monitors that have a more square aspect ratio, or if you have 23" monitors I suspect that you can achieve any angle that you want. You can angle the monitors however you want in any direction since the monitor is mounted on a ball swivel. Up/down/tilt/side-to-side, etc. The three monitor heights are all independent.I also like the cable management options. Three clear plastic cable holders snap into the back so you can't see the cables at all from the front. There are some hangers for the arms too that make the whole setup look great. There are two issues that I have with it, although it's not enough to change how pleased I am with it overall. The first, and biggest issue is the mount doesn't attach well to the Dell U2412Mb monitors. At first I was worried that it wouldn't work at all. It's a little bit too large so it doesn't fit into the square recessed place on the back of the monitors. The bottom of the mount plate is rounded and is just a bit too large. In the end I cut out an approximately square piece of cardboard from a box and filled out the recessed place on the monitor. It's definitely not a perfect fit and other buyers should beware of this issue. As a result the pieces that need to snap into place don't do that well because they are slightly distorted out of shape. You will need to rig up some makeshift solution like I did if you have the same size monitor mount to fit. This is a pretty big concern, but I'm happy enough with my workaround. The other minor (and I mean minor!) complaint I have is the small allen key screws used to make the adjustments. By the time you get both side arms mounted you don't have much room to turn the allen key wrench so you have to make a lot of small actions to tighten it (take it out, re-position, fit it, turn until you bump into something, take it out ...). It's also hard to turn. I think that they could have chosen another size for the allen key (it's small and hard to fit), or used some other method that easier to loosen and tighten. However, this is pretty minor and mostly only needed for height adjustment which rarely changes. It's nothing to worry about really.I am very pleased with this and would definitely recommend to anyone else looking for a good quality triple arm mount that has a lot of flexibility in the positioning and angling.

Expensive, but worth it for not being cheap and not looking hideous.
I've got a 27" main monitor, and two 23" ones on either side of it in a vertical position. This stand holds all of them up, and allows me to adjust them as I want simply by grabbing the edge of a monitor and pulling/pushing it around. The whole stand is very solidly built, and looks pretty nice as well. Just make sure you have a hefty desk to clamp it to, there is a ton of weight that is going to be pressing on the desk clamp.

Could have been better
I love the design, but I was disappointed that I couldn't fit three 25" widescreen monitors in a 'curved' configuration. I had hoped to upgrade to triple 27" monitors, but this model would only support 25" monitors in a flat configuration. I have plans to later purchase 2 additional stands or perhaps switch to a wall mount solution to achieve a panoramic 27" solution. The design of the arm clamps, while ingenious and very stylish, doesn't support the weight of 25" LCD/LED panels. I'm very particular in terms of ergonomics and arrangement. Trying to get three monitors to align perfectly was near impossible. Both side monitors have a slight angle to them as the weight of the monitors at full extension causes a slight drop in height. It took about 2 hours to get the monitors align vertically.

Super solid monitor stand, I just love the construction and should have bought the six monitor one.
