These are the best I've ever worn in 30+ years of riding. They just work!
Owning a motorcycle shop, I know that every head is shaped differently and that everyone has their own taste, with this in mind, here is my comments on the BOBSTER Spektrax, goggles/glasses. I've been riding for over 30 years and these are the very best glasses/goggles and the most versatile, that I have ever worn. I'm blind without my glasses and I still love to ride without a windshield, so a portable windshield is what I really like. I've been through some pretty good turd floater rainfalls, snow, fog, and blazing sun wearing a set of Bobsters for the last 15 years years. I bought these to replace the ones I had because they are just smooth worn out and my suppliers quit carrying these a couple years ago. They are not the sexiest out there, they are not the most modern out there and they darned sure ain't the newest, latest greatest, high brand glasses out there for riding, but for my head, eyes and riding preferences, they are the very best that the market has to offer. It's just sad that the owner of a motorcycle shop, has to order them from Amazon to replace his old ones!

Best on the Market
Optically these are excellent, with one of the better prescription insert frames. The best aspect is the excellent peripheral vision, wide insert frames. Biggest drawback is that the foam padding is not removable. I rode into work on my MC today with the prescription inserts. Excellent! These arrived kinda poorly packed with the insert bent haphazardly, leading you to think 'low quality,' however they are actually quite good. I would take off a star for the non-removable foam, but I thought many of the reviews were to harsh, and wanted to raise their average a bit since they are a good value and probably the best glasses of their type.Zenni offers a similar frame with better padding, however, the Zenni insert limits peripheral vision.

Great for Bicycling too
While I think Bobster intended these for motorcycles, I both road and mountain bike on a bicycle. These work real well for that purpose too. I have "dry eyes" and needed something to keep the wind out of my eyes when road biking. These work well as sunglasses for that purpose. The "goggle" option holds them tight to my face and the padding deflects the sweat to help keep it out of my eyes, when mountain biking. There is adequate ventilation while moving and the fog resistant coating has kept them from fogging up when stopped. However, they are a little warm when stopped. The interchangeable lenses are nice when riding in different lighting conditions. However, I would like the option to order some additional lens colors. A higher contrast yellow would be nice about dusk in the woods. When I called customer support with a question on getting my prescription lens inserts made they were very helpful. I did see one review about them limiting the field of view in your peripheral vision. And yes, that can be an issue in looking for cars when road biking.

Constantly Fogging Up
These goggles constantly fog up so that I can't see anything at all. They don't seem to have a recommended anti-fog spray for these, and the ones I've seen on Amazon all get bad reviews. Any idea how to keep these from fogging? I tried the "toothpaste and water" method that scuba divers use, but it didn't work.

Great glasses with options.
I think they are good for my MTB riding but the RX insert is maybe not for everyone. The RX insert is curved to conform with the shape of glasses, but for me it creates a little fishbowl visual effect. Makes it difficult to judge distances because some objects look smaller than they actually are which in turn makes objects seem farther than they actually are. But that's just me and my RX and I am use to it now.The extra color options is a good idea. I mainly use the Ali G amber. Also the optional headband strap to use in place for the usual

best purchase ever!!!
I just received my glasses, and even though I have not gotten the prescription filled, these are worth every penny plus some. fit is perfect and comfortable. I have another pair of safety sunglasses with my prescription in them, but they do not allow much visibility in the blind spot. These, on the other hand, are perfect. I DEFINITELY recommend these glasses.

not so much
The quality of the product is very good , but for me.. just didn't work out as well as I was hoping forI had my prescription put in the insert( should include two imho) ,As I understand it,, since the pupil to correction was notably less than glassesI did not get the same clarity as my routine glasses.Cost with prescription and product was quite high for the results,,, I believe thisproduct is no longer part of the bobster line.. this is likely why..
