Buy it if you can
First of all, I would like to personally thank the makers and sellers of this product as well as for the bow rake I purchased at the same time. You are absolutely the best (and not Bullies at all))) ). All the tools I have bought from Bully are the best I ever held in my hands. They are definitely made by professionals and not amateurs. Cons: NONE found so far. Pros: I honestly thought that my Husky round tip shovel was one of the best available on the market. Well, I guess I was wrong (please forgive me Husky, your product is still very well made and is good for what it's made for). Bully's shovel: 1. Optimal length for my height of 6'1". 1-2 inches longer than Husky. 2. Light because of the fiberglass stem but not very. The blade is well balanced by the handle, if I can say that. 3. The shovel's blade is well and optimally wrought. The "fin" at the top of the blade is extremely useful and allows the dirt fall off while digging easily - must have on all digging shovels! The foot rest on the blade is wide and convenient - you won't miss it, not a chance! It is much wider than Husky's. 4. The "V" handle is awesome. Optimal size for my large sized hand - only help and no interference of any sort. Bottom line, digging today was a bliss accompanied by a beautiful Californian weather. Guys, thank you again!

You will love this shovel
I like this shovel. Just pick it up and look at it and you can tell it is a quality tool. Very sturdy and lots of well-designed details. I've spent about 3 hours digging out stumps with it so far. It is so much easier to get real work done with this shovel than any of the others I have available. I broke my 30+ year old Sears Best Craftsmen and they replaced it the best one that had, but it is a real clunker; bought this one to replace the 'replacement' and am I real happy I did. I light the weight of the shovel -- not too heavy, but still enough heft to power through a root. The handle flexes a little more than I'm used to (using all-wood handles), but when it starts to bend that is probably a good indicator that maybe I'm using a little too much force and should ease up a bit on the prying. I wish it was sharper right out of the box, but that can be fixed easily enough with a flat file and 10 minutes of spare time.

Best Shovel I’ve Ever Owned
After breaking several handles I decided to buy a quality shovel. The video of the shovel breaking a concrete block was the deal maker. I have not been disappointed. I’ve used the shovel all summer and used it to pry 100+ pound rocks out of the ground. I liked it so much I bought another model.

Bukky makes great tools, in the USA, at a fair price
Bully Tools are great. Dime for dime, I haven't encountered a better line of garden tools readily available to the DIYer. This is my sixth bully shovel - I insist on having the right tool for the job at hand. This model has proven to be the choice for unloading landscape rock from my truck. The short handle and wide, comfortable D-grip are just right for the job. The head has a shallower curve than other round point shovels that let's it more easily slide into the rock pile and carries the right amount of heavy material in each scoop. Overall construction features and build quality are consistent with the rest of my Bully tools - which is very good. The working ends are all built like Sherman tanks and the handles are sturdier than necessary.

Big and heavy duty.
I cannot give this shovel less than 5 stars because it is the real deal, though not at all what I wanted…my bad. I wanted a small light sharp-bladed shovel that might help with weeding the garden; for scooping and flipping that awful grassy-clumped weeds over. Apparently I did not pay close attention to what I was reading. This shovel is the KING of shovels. It’s a monster. And it is heavy! Way too heavy for me. When my husband say it, he said it was the kind of shovel road workers use. It is not as sharp as I had hoped.

Solid digging apparatus.
Tough shovel and digs well. It has some weight to it and feels beefy. The edge comes blunt but if you take a grinder or a power file to it you can get whatever edge you want, then it will dig and chop right through roots. I’ve broken every tru-temper spade shovel I have used right right next to the ferrel. This one has a welded gusset and much thicker spade. It’s a little pricier but it’s made in the USA and Ill update this again after a season of heavy digging.

Good quality but too heavy. You pay too much for return shipping
This shovel is off good quality but too heavy. You're lifting what feels like five pounds before you put anything on the shovel. I was going to return it but they wanted almost $20 for shipping to return it. That's over 35% of the original cost to just return something I really can't use. I thought using Amazon for returns would save that for me. Should have bought from a store when I can get free returns.
