Exceeds Expectations ~ High Quality Materials ~ Look No Further You found best deal
Delightfully surprised with quality material and workmanship you can't find on others that cost more than double. This gazebo meets and exceeds our needs. Love the Heavy-duty steel corner posts, durable strong heavy-weight wide steel posts withstand the elements. Heavy steel, no need to dis-assemble it off season, just remove fabric top, privacy curtains and mosquito net curtains. The fabric is a tight knit denier, the type that keeps wind / water out. Like fact that there's two separate curtain rods one for privacy curtains the other for the mosquito netting curtains and that each has it,s own full length separating zipper on every side for easy access and to open and tie back with attached straps. We like leaving the wind privacy curtain closed on one side to block wind off the bay when it's chilly we can still enjoy the outdoors and/or our food stays warm when we eat. We searched extensively for a gazebo and are so satisfied with our choice. Exceeds expectation, you won't find better quality for double the price and if you do, it won't have two separate sets of curtains, privacy a d mosquito. Posts won't be heavy wide durable steel. I have no clue what some reviewers received but out curtains were all as e lengthy, extended full lengthy, top of rails to ground. Curtains open and close very smoothly, like a shower curtain does, zippers (all eight) open close perfectly. No issues with rain pooling on top or top sagging, we're assuming those with that type of issue did not assemble square / correct or they got an irregular cut / sewn fabric. We lucked out, ours is square, is a beautiful welcomed addition to our yard. Very pleased with gazebo recommend to all seeking backyard gazebo but not to a weekend camper, it's an overkill for camping, is very heavy and takes one person about 4 hours to assemble. If you assembled multiples, second one would probably take w person 2 hours . Had small issue with missing / damage but Amazon Customer Service resolved near immediate when I phoned. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again if need arrose and highly recommend to all in the market you won't be disappointed. Thanks Amazon, we love it!

Good quality especially for the price
So far, so good.I looked at several similar items online and at Home Depot and Lowe's. I chose this one because of the reviews. I was looking for something that would not fold or blow away in the winds. I got an idea from one of the reviews to anchor it using buckets of sand rather than commercially available sandbags. I have it on my cool deck near pool, and I was not ready to drill into deck until I knew that I wanted to keep it and keep it in that spot. The buckets are less attractive, but I am willing to trade that for the superior stability. All that sand "grabbing" the leg creates a lot of friction so that the legs can't lift out of the buckets. I may have to remove the canopy in heavier winds, but so far it has held up to 40+ mph winds. I can't say how long exactly it took me to put up because I did it in chunks (got too hot in Phoenix even in March to handle the metal pieces). I can say that one of the most important criteria for me was met; all the pieces fit together well. Also, I was able to assemble it myself. I used a ladder to put up the roof frame, and placed the legs in the above mentioned buckets while I connected them all together. I had my 13 yo daughter put some bolts in for her to learn how to read directions and use tools.Update: 6/24/18- 15 monthsThe canopy and frame have held up well. The privacy curtains and mosquito netting are intact also, but the puny loops that attach them to the rings on the rods have ALL DISINTEGRATED, i.e. they are now USELESS. Today I noticed the curtains hanging oddly so I don't know how soon the loops began to fail. The canopy covers/protects these loops from the sun, so they must be very poor quality. I suggest that the company look into beefing up these "Achilles heels". Now I am looking for replacement panels. They cost about $50 per wall, so I will not be buying the mosquito nettingThe day after I ordered the replacement panels I came up with a better idea, grommets.Kit I ordered (Lord & Hodge 1073A) came with 24 grommets and installation tools. Kit worked well, grommets installed, curtains back up.Way better idea than what manufacturer did with the cheap fabric loops, shame on you.

Not a rain shelter!
I haven't had the pooling from rain like other comments, but this is only the first rain since it's been installed so I am expecting the same result as others have had. I had the same problem with the $100 Aldi version, so dump the water out, insert the Venetian slats or use the pool tubes as others have suggested. My biggest complaint is IT'S NOT EVEN WATERPROOF! You can't sit under it in the rain and just enjoy a summer rain because the top canvas just leaks like a sieve. A complaint I did not have with the Aldi one (in use for 7 years before the frame finally weakened and collapsed). I will be spraying this canvas top with a rainguard as soon as it's dry enough to do so. I will be replacing the canvas with the style I used for my old one (much stronger, left up in the Michigan winter, used all season, yes eventually it weakened and fell apart and was replaced for $30). TOP SCORE - for the rest of this design, it is very sturdy. The double rail system for the screens and curtains is brilliant. The Velcro tie-backs are good, the hooks to hang the sides are easy to use. Putting it together, there were two of us, it was tricky but we did it in sections and had it up and using it within a couple hours on a Saturday.
