I was pleasantly surprised by this desk. I wanted something cheap for my son to do homework on, that was sturdy enough to hold up to his constant fidgeting and big enough to have his chrome book, school books and papers on at the same time. This desk exceeded my expectations. It is not solid wood but is sturdy and nice looking. The bottoms of the drawers are flimsy but they are locked in with grooves and have a support piece running across the middle so they hold up. He has been using it for about a week now and it is working great. It was simple to put together and didn’t take more than about an hour. All the screws and holes lined up properly.

a beautiful and simple desk with a nice woodgrain finish and it's very sturdy, came with all the parts, easy-to-follow instructions, and every piece was clearly labeled by numbers. It also came with 1 extra of all the screws. I'm not sure why some of the reviews say it's hard to put together I thought it was extremely easy just follow the pictures in the instruction manu and I had the entire desk assembled in one hour all you need is a Philips screwdriver. Both drawers fit well and roll smoothly, looks great in my home office. i highly recommend.

Took about an hour to assemble, mostly because theres's so many little screws and bolts. instructions are relatively easy to follow (although there was no step 9 in my booklet). Parts are clearly labeled and hardware neatly and discreetly packaged for easy finding. This desk is particle board with a veneer, and there were some areas where the veneer is one step from peeling, thankfully not in any visible areas. I read another review where the buyer noted that this works ok for an adult with careful or gentle handling; I agree. I bought a blotter to protect the desktop. I had concerns that it could get scratched or that a water mark from a drink could lead to damage. You're essentially paying for a lower cost version of a stylish desk, and I'm ok with that. This fits my needs for now and replaces the folding table I've been using to work from home. I like the drawers which keep the desktop clear. The veneer looks enough like wood that this matches other furniture in the room. Decent value desk.

Needed a smaller desk for our bedroom as another location to work from home. Its non-obtrusive and looks nice enough. The drawers claim they can hold 25 lbs but we're not going to push our luck as they bottoms are not solid MDF. They do have support though and should be good for the small items we plan to store. The instructions were easy enough to follow, some of the parts didn't have the matching numbers but it was simple to put together so not an issue. It will definitely serve our needs for a small monitor and laptop.One item of note, we did end up getting an office chart with no arms to make sure it fits under the desk. The desktop is standard 30" but with the drawers you lose clearance.

Now that the desk is built it is BEAUTIFUL. It is very sturdy and feels like a high end desk. The drawers open and close with ease, there’s no wobble in the desk and the wood is very sturdy.The packaging itself was terrible. I think it was handled roughly during shipment because the styrofoam came broken and I spent a good 1-2 hours just getting all the beads out of the crevices of the desk pieces.My particular unit did not come with instructions. Simple mistake, or does it not come with it? Not sure. So assembly wasn’t the worst in the world, but there are SO MANY THINGS to assemble what seems like a very simple desk. Expect to set aside a good hour and a half.

Bought for a 10 year old to use in bedroom to do homework at. Easy assembly. Does not look cheap - simple style and suits to purpose. Sturdy. 2 front drawers hold just what is needed for a 10 year old - paper, pens, pencils. Color is perfect - neutral enough to coordinate with brown or black furniture. Like that drawers do not hang below desk to one side or the other - allows it to be flexible for a right or left-handed person - they could sit comfortably in the center as well. Very pleased with the simple, clean look of this desk!
