Effective Solution for Pulling Problems
I've been using the HALTI No Pull Harness for my medium-sized dog, and it's been a game changer for our walks. As a DIY enthusiast, I appreciate tools and gadgets that make tasks easier, and this harness fits the bill perfectly. What I really like about this harness is how it immediately reduces my dog's pulling. The design is simple yet effective, making our walks much more enjoyable. It's also adjustable, so getting the right fit was easy, and my dog seems comfortable wearing it.The reflective material is a nice touch, adding an extra layer of safety during our evening strolls. It's lightweight, which means my dog doesn't feel burdened, and I appreciate that it doesn't look bulky on him.On the downside, it took a bit of time for my dog to get used to the harness. He was a bit uncomfortable at first, but with a little patience and positive reinforcement, he adapted quickly. This harness has made a significant difference in our daily walks, reducing the strain on both of us. It's an excellent tool for dog training, and I'm pleased with how it has improved our outdoor time. If you're struggling with a pulling dog, this harness is definitely worth a try.

Not for painful fingers and joints
I bought this as a substitute for out of stock product. I ahould have considered more carefully. This is not a good product for people with painful, arthritic hands, or hands and fingers that experience transient weakness. There are no clips for the straps. The entire piece must go over the head of the dog. Legs must be lifted and placed through straps.Straps must be slid through a buckle to tighten them. It does take effort. It's too much for the inflamed tissues in my hands. This harness does appear to be comprised of quality materials. Its a good fit for my dog. If it weren't for my painful hands and the lack of clips to allow for easier appluxatiin of harness, I would love it. Harness will be a gidt for someone else.

Life-changing!
My cavalier has been the worst puller! I was constantly trying to redirect and tried a lead that hooked under his chin. Neither worked. But within a couple mins of using this lead, I realized our walks will never be the same. He didn't like the harness at first and seemed confused. But after a few minutes we both got the hang of it. At first I used both the front and back hooks. I then switched to I just using the back hook and it worked great. Towards the end of the walk I realized I was only using a finger to hold onto the leash. He wasnt pulling at all. Seriously life changing.Suggestions:First, put the harness on your dog for a little while BEFORE you go on your first walk so they can get used to it.Second, definitely read the directions before trying to put the harness on. I put it on backwards at first because I thought I knew how it went on.

works as intended but could be designed better
I think it works fine, seems to be comfortable to the dog, she doesn't pull (too much). The dog is a husky beagle mix so the beagle gets on a scent and the husky wants to GO, this calms her down. This harness design needs work. There are no clasps or buckles so every time you put it on or take it off you have to loosen the neck adjustors which is NOT EASY. She gets annoyed while my artheritic hands fumble and I curse

Simple, painless and efficient !
Excellent product, easy to put on, doesn't refrain dog's natural movements and breathing but prevent him from pulling quite efficiently.Good quality. Very satisfied !

Best harness for my unruly 85pound puppers
I had this style for years without the front no pole leash option and I loved it until 5 years of wear it finally went. I finally found this product and let me tell you I have a new dog! She is the same weight of my 7 year old and for the first time she was able to walk her best friend. That front no pole loop was the trick to keep her under control and easy to walk. Would have loved a clip around the neck but she will get use to it being put on with time. The double clip leash I bought with it was a great add too

Didn’t control my strong and reactive dog well enough
I love the Halti face harness and have probably purchased 10 of them just for my wild and crazy GSD. She’s reactive to a lot of things, but most especially bikes - and the face harness helps a lot. However, she does not like it and is often throwing herself on the ground to rub at it. It also inhibits her panting causing her to get a it foamy at the mouth (nothing like lunging at a bike with a foamy mouth to get a biker to actually warn me next time he speeds by too close). The reason I have purchased so many is someone always puts it on wrong at some point, typically from behind her, and the chin strap ends up in her mouth and chewed through in two seconds. This is exactly what happened to me just last week when I took it off to give her a break from it while on a long walk. Hence, the purchase of this harness. The problem with this harness is when my girl is going to lunge, she often lunges hard. The harness pulls to the side and does not give me enough control. If it’s really unexpected (I’m always listening for bikes, no EarPods allowed for me), I sometimes end up falling. The harness is not terrible, and I think when I use two leashes it’s better and may work well for a less powerful/less reactive dog, but I now have an order in for a prong collar (don’t be judgy until you’ve put one on your arm and yanked it, it’s not cruel).I have spent well over a year trying to get her calmer, and she is doing much, much better most days. But if she actually got to a speeding biker, all of us could get very hurt. We’ll see how she does with a prong, but I also ordered two backup Halti face harnesses.
