Great gloves
I have been looking for a good set of gloves for trimming palm trees for years. Yes, I know these are welding gloves but palms cut the heck out of things! Normal cowhide gloves last one day of work and are the same price. I have 6 months on my first pair and they have just finally got a small tear in the right middle finger tip. I have slung tons and tons or logs and palms with them. Best gloves I’ve found

Quality
Excellent durability. My favorite glove for stick welding and general use!

Comfortable gloves
Gloves were form fittingly comfortable and very fashionably designed. Made with high quality materials that stand up to tough working conditions. My only issue is that I’m a welder and they weren’t too resistant to extreme heat and small holes quickly became larger. Maybe a tougher layered index finger/s would help but otherwise this brand is always reliable.

These run a little small

These are great gloves
I have several pairs of gloves from Caiman and have written reviews for each.So far, these are my favorites. The opening is a little tight, and that is always how it is for me because I have a square shaped hand.Unlike the others, the thumb is not comically long and fits properly. The Kontour design and manufacturing actually makes the glove, well, fit like a glove...My only complaint is that they put the closure on the bottom of the glove and not the top. I tend to tear the closure open when it is not on the top of the wrist. And, we'll see how it goes.I'll be testing these when I am moving split logs and see how well they survive. Some gloves, I have torn the stitching open in a single day of use. I am hoping that the leather will be durable, especially at the finger tips.So far, I love these gloves.

Comfortable and less cumbersome.
I make small weld repairs usually on junk these work well for what I need to do.

Finally, a great work glove at a great price !
WOW!, so I get to write the first review. Well that's a first for me.........As someone who lives in the CA Sierras, is a gear-head, and all around DIYer, I use gloves almost daily and have tried just about ever glove available. I'll blow throw a pair of those cheap "Harbor Freight" gloves in a weekend! I've purchased just about every pair of "high-end" glove from OSH, Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace, etc. only to be disappointed more often than not. The few times I have been relatively happy about a pair of gloves, is only after paying a ridiculously inflated amount of money.I first tried to purchase a pair of these gloves just after Thanksgiving and Amazon was sold out........... Finally they where in stock and I snatched up a pair. They showed up a few days ago, and I have to say "Awesome" !!!! Well made, properly designed, fit great, and even look cool (yeah, that really is irrelevant......but they do). I almost purchased two pair, one for me, and one for a good friend who has the same issue with trying to find a nice glove at a reasonable price. Took mine over to his place, and he was just as impressed. So I'm buying a second pair! Now there will be only 4 Pair available.........This is only my personal opinion and take it with a grain of salt, but if you do decide to pick up a pair I think you'll be happy you did. If you are looking for a light duty glove while wrenching on your '69 Mach1 or '32 Ford Three-Window, Mechanix gloves are great! If you're looking for a great all around glove, these are awesome!Cheers,Dave

Do not buy! Terrible glove
This glove did more damage to my hand than not wearing gloves at all. After one hour of work the seems in the fingers had started rubbing the insides of my fingers raw and my hands were dyed yellow from sweat mixing with the leather. Terrible glove for welding and fab work
