MAHLE Original OX 350/4D ECO Oil Filter

I’m on my second filter after learning to change the oil myself. Perfect fit. At fifteen bucks, there are cheaper brands available, but why risk such an expensive engine?

They are a perfect fit for my Audi A8L and are high quality. OEM & Mahle are the only filters I use. These filters are made in Austria. They are not made in Mexico or China many other brands like Mann. Perfect for the DIYer. I do not change my own oil but I always bring a filter to my Indie Mechanic so I know what is going into the car. Can't go wring with this filter.The Audi specs long interval oil changes. 10,000 miles or 12 months. I personally think 12 months is way too long but I do not drive heavy miles. I change the oil out every 10,000 or every 6 months. Most of the time I hit 6 months well before I hit 10,000 miles. I have never had on of these collapse on me. The plastic ties on these most likely help with this.

Works perfectly as a direct OEM replacement, just wish it came with a new crush washer for the drain plug as well.

OE-Standard oil filter for less money than buying OEM at dealer. Recommend checking filter for imperfections before installation if box looks messed up, as with all filters. Vehicle: 2011 Audi S5 V8 4.2 Manual

Application: 2008 Audi RS4 BNSFits the application. Snap fits just fine with OEM oil filter housing cap (which is really mating with a snap fit to a removable adapter disc so it can be used with the OEM Audi plastic cap or the ECS Tuning aluminium cap). No further analysis performed (e.g. oil analysis).Still hate the Audi design that requires a lot of strength to separate the filter element from the adapter and not a lot of room for leverage.
