These are decent kitchen knives. I took two stars off for the fact these are stainless blades with laser etched to look like Damascus steel folds. These are not folded Damascus steel, but they are pretty they are sharp and work well.

XYJ Knife is very sharp and I love the smooth flat handle top with rounded edges. Many knives I own have two narrow, or a completely circular handle. This handle has a flatter and wider top that makes chopping easier for me. I also love the wooden grain etching in the stainless steel blade that compliments the dark wooden looking handle.There are a couple of thing I did notice, the blade has a slight curve towards the end. I do wish it was straighter. Another preference I have is the blade continuing down into the handle. This knife stops at the handle, so you do feel the seam where the two pieces meet. Overall, it is fine in the dishwasher. I find a great shape for me and it is very sharp!

Let me tell you this knife is amazing. The knife has incredible craftsmanship, it's sharp and beautiful. The handle is beautiful wood and the knife appears to be folded steel. We don't even put it away we just keep it on the counter because we use it so much. Again, a very nice knife and so glad I took the chance on it. You won't be disappointed.
