With show-stopping new songs written by R&B songstress Vivian Green, this record-breaking musical features electrifying performances by R&B star Avant, American Idol finalist Trenyce Cobbins and beloved actress Ellia English (The Jamie Foxx Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm). Mostly for us ladies...
SPOILER ALERT: Wow, very great play! I wish I would have seen it in person, but hey, at least I saw it! To the Talberts- I can edit if that's what is needed. Ms. Dee-Dee said she doesn't talk about her men folk and what they do in the bed, but there was a scene with just her and Tyme, and Dee Dee told all her biz about how long her guy was and how she wasn't going to wait on him. Yeah several innuendos about sex and a penis. I like the concepts of "there are still good men out there; forgiveness; and don't take your relationship woes out on your child." This play is really geared for us ladies IMHO. There's a few things in here for the fellas, but not much. Shout out to the "Naturalistas" out there. As Avant could only sing it-keep your cornrows, afros, and stay away from those chemicals. Please keep Avant in your plays Mr. Talbert-really enjoyed him and Ms. Ellia! God Bless!

Well-scripted storylines and fantastic singing
One of my favorite musicals/plays. The actors are gorgeous and photogenic. The storyline deals with serious issues (like trust, infidelity, jealousy, bitterness, forgiveness) but is also very funny, with a lot of great comedic lines. There are numerous romances/love stories to follow and the singing is a joy!

Ok
I only gave it 4 stars because of Morris Chestnut but the some of the acting was not up to par & while the singing voices were good the songs were not. I love the lessons in this play, our own insecurities can keep us from finding love or living our purposed life & can keep us entangled in situations that doesn't serve our lives.

Love is not to take for granted....
I loved this play when I first saw it and finally decided to get the dvd and enjoyed seeing it again and can watch anytime I feel now, the message was very good and hopefully people wake up and stop with the games and get in line before they let a good thing pass by and end up old and alone while the one that got away is happy and living the best life without them.....

Morris Chestnut
I only bought this DVD because he was in the play. Lol No, but seriously, I liked the play. Real life situation and the sisters in the play were on point.

Knowledge, truth and real.....
It was just beautiful. It is a definite must watch, whether you are playing the game or standing on the sidelines. It makes you want to believe such love can be true.

Love in the Nick of Tyme
David E. Talbert's Love in the Nick of Tyme is a nice, well put together stage play. The story flows nice and all comes together. However, there were some things I did dislike about the play. The cast didn't seem to have chemistry which messed up the flow. But it was overall a nice play to watch.
