DEWALT 2" Putty Knife | Stainless Steel w/Soft Grip Handle | DXTT-2-148

Excellent quality. The stainless steel is mandatory in my opinion for these type of tools. I have a whole set of the ones from the big box home improvement stores, of which none are stainless steel. Like they don't even have them as an option? My other non-stainless versions are all rusty and tarnished, even after I cleaned them carefully after each use. This putty knife has been excellent and versatile so far. I can use it to lightly scrape off a hardened paint drop off a delicate finish or put some pressure on it to try to chisel away at some sloppy mortar work. The soft handle is a nice touch also. I am considering buying some of the other widths to convert all my putty knives over to the Dewalt stainless versions.

The media could not be loaded. A++ easier to use compared to my ACE brand 2”.Purchased the 1”.

I used this to pry up old peel and stick tile from my kitchen floor. It did a good job of getting underneath the tile and giving me leverage to lift it up. It made the job easier for sure and withstood the task. I recommend this tool.

I began to look for a replacement putty knife and after researching several options decided to purchase this knife, glad I did. The stainless steel knife will provide longevity and durability.

This works as intended but many mentioned that the stickers come off easily which was not the case for me. I had to use a heat gun to take out the stickers and even then, they still peeled off. I was really disappointed. Once I got the stickers off the actual spatula is really nice.

I’m an auto technician and I use this guy not just for fixing sheet rock but I use it for separating oil pans and it works really great.

Dewalt makes good quality tools. This putty knife is made from high quality stainless steel. I left it wet after cleaning it and it didnt rust.Pay attention before purchasing putty knives. Dewalt makes putty knife from stainless steel and carbon steel!It has very comfortable to hold and easy to clean rubber handle. It is full tang with aluminum cap on top of its handle. It looks very durable. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I tried a couple of drywall knives before purchasing this one, it performed well and by the looks of it will be around for a long time. Would definitely recommend.

El producto me llego perfecto compre una de 10" y la de 4", lo que mee tiene intrigado aun porque no las eh ocupado, es que supuestamente son de acero inoxidable, y al ponerle un imán si es atraída cuando no deveria seer así, entonces eh ai la duda ya las ocuparé y veré que pasa.

When I received the product it was not like in the photo, but I did not pay attention, I thought that another model ... However, after I started working with it in 2 hours on the knife appeared corrosion !!! Carl 2 hours and corrosion !! This is not the Stanley Steel mentioned in the description, but only for her I bought this knife. I was deceived.
