This has got to be THE greatest pond clarifier on the market today
I don't normally write reviews, but this product definitely deserves one in my opinion. This has got to be THE greatest pond clarifier on the market today. I have a 300 or so gallon pond with small butterfly koi and goldfish, and I tried everything to get my water clear and had no relief from the green murky water. Ready to pull my hair out, I searched you tube again to try to find some advise. Fortunately I clicked on a video of a gentleman just talking about this newer product he had nothing but good to say about,ACUREL E. So I get on Amazon to see if they had it, and of course they did (Amazon has everything!) so I figure I'll try it, very reasonably priced. It is waiting for me upon arrival home from work, excited I go and following the simplest of instructions and add it to my pond. It is night time and the best I'm hoping for is improved visibility by morning. I kid you not.. Within minutes I already can see improved clarity. By morning I can see my beautiful fish again! Now a day later my water is crystal clear and I can see detail on the bottom of my pond. It has never been this clear I am awe struck at how fast and perfectly this product worked. And it is organic based, no harsh chemicals or need to dilute it with pond water first. No worry over how it will affect or harm fish. It is awesome and the only fix for clearing pond water. I only wish I could give it more than five stars. You need to get clear water in your pond? Then get this product, it REALLY works and it works fast!

Quite impressed, overnight success
Our pond was always crystal clear, then Hurricane Hilary hit SoCal. With minimal rain we get, the rain we got was a dirty rain. Turned the 1,000 gallon koi pond into a murky mess. I wasn't about to siphon out 30% of the pond and my pump could not catch up.I cleaned the filter prior to dosing the pond and poured in the required amount. I had yee little faith in this product the first few hours. It's iodine colored and turned the pond that color too. I was like, this stuff is crap.Today I woke up to a crystal clear pond. I pulled out the pump and it was full of muck. I'm not sure if I'm going to do a second dose, I'll see as the day goes by.Highly recommend for murkiness, not sure how it works on string algae.

First I would like to say I was skeptical about this product working
First I would like to say I was skeptical about this product working. I have a 12 ft by 7 ft 700 gallon pond with a waterfall, a large bio filter, plenty of plants, and about 40 goldfish. I also have a separate pump just for aeration. The water depth varies from about 12 to 30 inches. The water has been murky for about a month and I was not able to see the bottom at all. By murky I mean CLOUDY, not green and not brown, just not able to see very far through it. I only feed the fish about once every two weeks and they are plenty healthy. Water tests fine, ph., ammonia, etc. So I went ahead and ordered Acurel. Let me say it works! The directions were very clear regarding how much to use. The measuring scale is right on the bottle. The stuff looks like iodine in color, very dark. It comes in a plastic squeeze bottle. I did three separate treatments 24 hours apart each time. I squirted it in a few different places in the pond and then slowly stirred the water with my strainer net. It does turn the water brown which will probably freak a lot of people out when they first use it, it did me LOL, but there was absolutely no harm to my fish or plants. About a day after the third treatment it was amazing how much clearer the water was. I can actually see the bottom and all my fish!! For me it did not turn anything into clumps that I was able to clean out with a strainer, but it must have bound whatever particles were clouding the water thus allowing the filters to finally trap them! I will be keeping this stuff on hand. Sorry this was a bit long, but thought it might help to have some details about my pond and situation.

WOW!
This stuff is great!!! We'd recently moved into a home with a small pond that had two pool areas. The filter was toast and the water so was dark we could only see surface area. We removed the overgrown plants, drained and scrubbed the sides and bottom, filled it with fresh water, added the appropriate size bio filter and then waited a week before adding 10 small goldfish. The pond is in currently in full sun, so in less than 2 weeks, the pond edge was black with algae and the water had returned to that murky shade of brown. The fountain jets on our filter were constantly getting clogged and we were pulling it out to clean the bio filter pads in tubs of pond water and reaming the clogged fountain jets about every 3-4 days! A couple of carefully measured doses of TetraPond Algae Control seemed to get the algae under control, but we still had that foul smelling ... murky water!I finally watched a few YouTube videos and that's where I learned about Acurel E. When the product arrived two days later, I estimated that the pond held a little more water than an average bathtub, so I diluted 1/2 tsp in a quart of pond water, added it to the pond while stirring with my fishnet leaf skimmer. In less than 12 hours I could almost see the bottom! Per instructions, we pulled and cleaned the bio filter, which was packed with greenish brown goo after 24 hours and added the second 1/2 tsp dose of Acurel E. Low and behold, our goldfish were happily swimming in clear water the following day! We've since added a few pond plants to help shade and filter the water and to give the fish places to hide from predators. Finally, I can move on to cleaning up the sides of the pond, adding some stone to hid the ugly concrete edge and a few plants around the perimeter!

The reviews and ratings are 4 and 5 stars.
I am rating this product on it's reviews from others right now.Do to it is my first time using this product in my pond.Being a new user,I have just treated pond less then 24 hours ago,but still waiting to see the results. With that said,it is hard to rate it,but I am hoping my results using it will be as good as the reviews I read on it.>> day 4 since I used this product, see a bit of an improvement, but not like I was expecting so far. But I will give it a few more days.not impressed so far unfortunitly.
