La Bella2001 Medium Hard Tension Silver-Plated wound Classical Guitar Strings - 029-0435

I used to use Savarez as they have great volume and projection but created too much fret noise. I've found the LaBella 2001s to be a good alternative. They create a nice tone and reasonable amount of volume and projection. They stay in tune as well as any classical string once they stretch for a few days. They last pretty well and I've not had one break in the case as was moderately common with the Savarez strings. They are generally nearly half the price of Savarez.

These are the best strings I have tried. Replaced $30 Suarez strings on a new Cordoba fusion guitar with these and playability and sound were much improved. Worth a try if you play classical music.

Around the first of the year I got out my old 1968 Hagstrom classical guitar and took it to a local luthier for some minor repairs and setup. I had read a few reviews and decided to purchased the LaBella strings which I had the luthier use for the setup. He said he liked the sound of the strings and so did I. They have been on the guitar for about seven months now and still sound good so I have been pleased with them. This purchase is my second set of these strings that I wanted to have on hand when the first need replacing.

After trying four or five different sets of strings, found these to sound and play the best. My guitar is a Cordoba c10. Strings remain in tune, have sufficient volume, and the treble strings are slicker than others strings I’ve tried.

These are really terrific strings. They can produce very clean, warm tone. Even though they are a little expensive I wholeheartedly recommend them.
