Good, but why?
As all Megapro products, its an awesome tool. However, it was NOT what I hoped it was. I was looking for a bit locking screwdriver to use with non-Megapro locking bits. This screwdriver uses its own proprietary bit locking scheme, which does not work with the :" Standard" locking bit format. Also, the bit release on the driver shaft is plastic. you can see the release in the product picture, its that little tiny yellow nub on the shaft. I mean, it works, and ive had no issues with it, but it looks and feels cheap. On the positive side, it does have the positive locking feature, which i suppose can be a plus. ( I mean i never had one of the ball bearing detente bits come loose either though...) Oh, and if anyone is listening, BRING BACK THE SHORT HANDLED STANDARD BIT LOCKING DRIVER. I lost mine and i cant replace it!

Great — sturdy and versatile
I was a little skeptical but the Wirecutter review was really good. I gave it a try. I really like it.

Love This Product! Go Buy ONE!
I was given my first one over 12 years ago by Cisco Systems for my work. I used it very frequently and abusively. I still have all the original bits which have stood up exceptionally well over time. I use it on my Old Muscle Cars, Dirt Bikes, Quad, house repairs, building PC's for all my friends and family, etc... My 60 pound leopard chewed it and lost it in his ½ acre pen for a winter. I found it with the lawnmower the following summer. Oiled it up, used a little wire brush on some surface rust and it kept on going.I FINALLY broke it while pounding down the lid of a 1 gallon can of paint. It was a sad day and was marked with a 21 Nail-Gun salute. :-)Now I’m buying two more and if the quality is the same as it was 12 years ago, I may never need to buy another. However, if they have become cheap Corner cutting junk like most everything else these days, I’ll be back on here adjusting my review with extreme prejudice and harsh, unforgiving words.I do also wish that they still made them in the Olive/green colors like my original one.

THE BEST ALL IN ONE SCREWDRIVER
Definitely my "go to" all-in-one screwdriver. It's well built, and I like the shaft lock feature, insuring that you do not lose your bit when unit is put in tool box, drawer, pouch or bucket boss, etc.

wont lose bits
I usually use the klien 11/1 Screwdriver, the Philips bit has fallen out, sometimes I can find it, sometimes I cant. This srewdriver has all the same bits except the nut driver part for driving ground screws. That's ok , I can always use the Philips. Much rather have this and not have to worry about missing a bit at the worst moment. I would recommend this

Servers mounting
I have bought this screwdriver as I needed a new screwdriver for mounting servers and network equipment. For that purpose it seems to work really well.I have also tried using it to remove screws that mounts my wooden door to the door frame, it is really easy to remove it since the torque is really good.Probably will get another as a spare.

Great screw driver!
This is my second Megapro screw driver. The first was the original with ratcheting. Wonderful screw driver I keep it in the house. This one with the bit lock and bright yellow green shaft I keep outside in the barn. Hard to misplace and the bit does not fall out! Helps when you are under something or upside down. Both screwdrivers are well made easy to use and have a bit for almost any situation. The other neat thing is their products are either made in the USA or Canada. Hard to go wrong with these tools.
